Some tester have done this I think ... the trick to re-register again to Pearsonvue . If it lets you register and pay again that means you failed and if stop you from paying that means you passed.
Updated:
Members are discussing their experiences with the NCLEX exam, specifically focusing on the Pearsonvue Trick (PVT) to determine if they passed. Some are sharing their test dates, the "good pop-up" results they received, and the anxiety of waiting for official results. There is also confusion around account blocks, credit card charges, and the implications for exam outcomes.
Well I haven't gotten my result yet and I tried the trick and it lets me pay and went all the way to almost to confirm my order but I didn't ... Does this mean that I failed the NCLEX-PN??
Can someone help me please? I am scared and I can't sleep now. I have another week or two wait for my result ... I stopped at 85. Does this mean I failed the exam?

Very important: At this point, if you get a pop up that says 'the candidate currently has test results that are on hold. A new registration cannot be created at this time.', it has nothing to do with passing or failing; it just means that they are reviewing your records due to random reviews that they conduct, or because they needed to locate some data or papers, etc. This means you will possibly have to wait a few more days than your friends who did not get this message. If you get the message 'our records indicate that you have recently scheduled this exam. Please contact your member board for further assistance. another registration cannot be made at this time.', that means you passed. If you do not get either message and go straight to the credit card information page, that means you did not pass.
Your Pearsonvue account must state that delivery is successful before you try the trick
OK... I JUST took my exam, literally about 20 mins ago, and I went to my car, popped open my laptop and got this message:The candidate currently has an open registration for this exam. A new registration cannot be created at this time.
OK... fine... but I refreshed about 10 minutes later and got this:
Our records indicate that you have recently scheduled this exam. Please contact your Member Board for further assistance. Another registration cannot be made at this time.
That's the good one right???????
Help~!!!!!!!!!
Yep that's the "good pop up"! According to the trick you passed! I got it too... still waiting on official results in CA... let us know when you get your official results! =)
Hi all! I too took my NCLEX-RN on Ontario, California on Tuesday the 12th at 3:00 p.m. I have been on pins and needles ever since!! The computer shut off at 75 questions, and I totally felt like I failed... I found this "trick" over the weekend and tried it. I did get the good pop-up as well, however my name isn't on the BON website either... I knew they were closed Fri and Mon, so I have been anxiously (to say the least ) waiting for today- still no name. I was thinking that if I did fail that they would automatically take off my IP permit (not sure, just a thought), and it is still up... Anybody have any ideas?
It does help to read others experiences, as well as feel the excitement for those who find out they passed. I'm glad I came across this site, and thanks for all of the info!!

Three of my classmates took it the same day you did. Two of them heard (saw their name on the BON), one hasn't yet, that I know of. Maybe they just haven't gotten to your site yet or something.
Remember for CA the BRN must have your RN program transcripts before they will give you a permanent license and have your name pop up on the website. I took the NCLEX-RN on 1/8 and still do not have results on the BRN website because my nursing school has not sent my classes transcripts yet!
I'm telling you this waiting is B-A-D I just called the BRN, and found out that they have not yet received my transcripts from my school! They said to give it 3 weeks after you graduate to get your transcripts into your file. I graduated Dec. 16th, and they still don't have it...
I know I need to seriously relax and let it happen when it does, however right now I feel like driving the 7 hours to Sacramento to deliver my transcripts myself LOL!

wow, that stinks... I thought the BRN had to have all the transcripts before you get an ATT, is that not true?
We got to test without transcripts too.. found out our school just sent them on 1-07-2010... the BRN should DEFINITELY have them by now though... but NO ONE from my class has shown up on BRN website yet. There's at least 20 of us who've already taken NCLEX-RN.. one took it on December 29th and STILL doesn't know if she passed and is working on an IP so it's extra nerve-wracking LOL:confused:
Anyone else in CA notice what time the BRN updates their online license verification? I was still awake last night at 11:30pm and checked and it STILL hadn't updated yet that whole day... when I woke up this morning it had finally updated to yesterday's date.. guess even if they clear us today it prob won't show up til tomorrow?
I know I am obsessing about this and need to just relax and breathe but it doesn't feel possible right now.. there's so much riding on this ONE test score!!! hahahaha
Yes, I just found out that CA will let you test without transcripts. Although they will not release results or a license until your file is complete (that is my understanding anyhow...)
wow, I guess I was misinformed. I thought waiting 3-4 business days was going to be torture, I couldn't imagine waiting longer. Sorry guys!!
