Some tester have done this I think ... the trick to re-register again to Pearsonvue . If it lets you register and pay again that means you failed and if stop you from paying that means you passed.
Updated:
Members are discussing their experiences with the NCLEX exam, specifically focusing on the Pearsonvue Trick (PVT) to determine if they passed. Some are sharing their test dates, the "good pop-up" results they received, and the anxiety of waiting for official results. There is also confusion around account blocks, credit card charges, and the implications for exam outcomes.
Well I haven't gotten my result yet and I tried the trick and it lets me pay and went all the way to almost to confirm my order but I didn't ... Does this mean that I failed the NCLEX-PN??
Can someone help me please? I am scared and I can't sleep now. I have another week or two wait for my result ... I stopped at 85. Does this mean I failed the exam?

Very important: At this point, if you get a pop up that says 'the candidate currently has test results that are on hold. A new registration cannot be created at this time.', it has nothing to do with passing or failing; it just means that they are reviewing your records due to random reviews that they conduct, or because they needed to locate some data or papers, etc. This means you will possibly have to wait a few more days than your friends who did not get this message. If you get the message 'our records indicate that you have recently scheduled this exam. Please contact your member board for further assistance. another registration cannot be made at this time.', that means you passed. If you do not get either message and go straight to the credit card information page, that means you did not pass.
Your Pearsonvue account must state that delivery is successful before you try the trick
Well i took my NCLEX-RN yesterday @ 8am. I tried the trick and got the pop-up. When I got done Iw as sure I failed the test. I am now optimistic. I am also a LPN. So I tried to reregister for that test. It gave me the same popup that I could not reregister. SO hopefully I will be a RN Monday morning!
I took the NCLEX-PN yesterday and it stopped at 85 questions. I want to cry (more). I went through the first 30 questions or so without too much of a problem, though I know the first ten I had to read a couple of times because my heart was going all over the place and I was like "Ahhh! I'm taking the NCLEX. This is it. The test." Once I got more comfortable with it, it was easier to focus and I calmed down a little. Somewhere in the middle of the test I looked at the clock and that's when my problem began. I realized I'd only spent about 30 minutes (if that) on 45 questions. I started to panic again thinking I must be going too quickly and missing key parts and then getting questions wrong. This time I tried to slow down more...re-read the questions at least three times and really rack my brain which I caused me, when I had a gut feeling about an answer, to second guess myself. I graduated with a 4.0 but on any of the tests that I had a "low-score" on, it was when I was taking a test I was nervous about taking and I changed some of my answers because I read into the questions too much and didn't trust myself. I only remember about 9 NCLEX questions well enough to look them up to see if I answered correctly or not, and it seems like I got five of them wrong - and all but one of which I had changed my "gut" answer to something else. And they seem to me to be really basic stuff, stuff I would be able to answer correctly under almost any other circumstance. I feel horrible. My stomach can't quit churning and I look like a raccoon from crying and lack of sleep. I know I have major test anxiety to begin with, but I never expected the wait to be this bad.
I'm in a state where I can get the Quick results online for $7.95 so I'll be doing that tomorrow unless my name is up on my BON site by then. I ran across this super-thread around midnight last night and followed the steps exactly from the first post at about 1am, which was about 12 1/2 hours after I started and 9 hours after I got out PV . The appointment status said "Delivery Successful" and when I tried to register again it wouldn't let me get to the CC info - got the pop-up saying "Our records indicate that you have recently scheduled this exam. Please contact your Member Board for further assistance. Another registration cannot be made at this time." To try and test it further, I've entered the wrong program code and switched my answers to some of the questions (like, "Have you taken the NCLEX before?") and I still get the same pop-up and blocking from going to the payment section.
I've tried it multiple times now, and it's been 24 hours since I took the NCLEX, and I'm still getting the pop-up.
I'm PRAYING that this PV "trick" is reliable, and if it is that I'm not the exception to the trick. I'll be surpised if I pass and surprised if I fail at this point, but this thing does help to relieve some of the anxiety. I'm trying to tell myself that with my grades and all the studying I did leading up to the test, plus my ATI prediction of 99% chance of passing it the first time that I did indeed pass, but I just can't really believe that I would miss such easy questions and stop at 85 and pass. I really feel for you all in CA! I don't think I'd be sane by the end of that wait. I can barely handle two days.
Hey!
I took NCLEX-PN in CA on December 15, 2009, the computer stopped at 125 questions. I tried PVT trick the next day after test and got the good pop-up. I just found out today that I passed. The PVT trick works!
I had a lot of questions similar to Kaplan Review. I studied using Sounders and Kaplan.
Thanks to allnurses forum.
Good luck to everyone!
