Some tester have done this I think ... the trick to re-register again to Pearsonvue . If it lets you register and pay again that means you failed and if stop you from paying that means you passed.
Updated:
Members are discussing their experiences with the NCLEX exam, specifically focusing on the Pearsonvue Trick (PVT) to determine if they passed. Some are sharing their test dates, the "good pop-up" results they received, and the anxiety of waiting for official results. There is also confusion around account blocks, credit card charges, and the implications for exam outcomes.
Well I haven't gotten my result yet and I tried the trick and it lets me pay and went all the way to almost to confirm my order but I didn't ... Does this mean that I failed the NCLEX-PN??
Can someone help me please? I am scared and I can't sleep now. I have another week or two wait for my result ... I stopped at 85. Does this mean I failed the exam?

Very important: At this point, if you get a pop up that says 'the candidate currently has test results that are on hold. A new registration cannot be created at this time.', it has nothing to do with passing or failing; it just means that they are reviewing your records due to random reviews that they conduct, or because they needed to locate some data or papers, etc. This means you will possibly have to wait a few more days than your friends who did not get this message. If you get the message 'our records indicate that you have recently scheduled this exam. Please contact your member board for further assistance. another registration cannot be made at this time.', that means you passed. If you do not get either message and go straight to the credit card information page, that means you did not pass.
Your Pearsonvue account must state that delivery is successful before you try the trick

I actually just signed up for this site today. I've been reading interesting threads for several days now...It's probably one of the only things that's keeping me sane and giving me hope..
I graduated in May 2009 with my BSN. I decided to take a break from studying for the whole summer and most of fall...I eventually scheduled my test for October 30 2009 but knew I was not prepared. For about 10 days before the exam I would study almost the entire day. Even the day before the exam and the day of the exam. The morning of the exam, I decided to take a 3 hour nap before getting ready to go to the testing site...Obviously wasn't so smart.. I DID NOT WAKE UP and missed the test. At that point, I just wanted to die...
After talking to several people and realizing that I did not go through the nursing program to become a failure, I reapplied and rescheduled my exam for December 30 2009. I attempted to study everyday, but it didn't happen. I did not take a review course, but I purchased several books that I felt were useful. I pretty much went through the books. Answered questions, looked at the rationales, looked up things I wasn't familiar with...
Two days before the exam, my anxiety level was at its highest. I decided to sleep at my parents house because I knew for sure they would wake me up on time. My dad actually dropped me off that morning. On the way to the exam I brought my notes and studied the whole way. My dad felt that I was stressing myself out. I remember sitting in the car with him and telling him I wasn't ready. He said, "You've studied your hardest. Be calm."
...At the testing center..after getting my palm print and picture taken, I was escorted to a computer and given a white board and marker. I was EXTREMELY NERVOUS. During the exam...I had a lot of questions about the endocrine system, isolation precautions, OB, 2 math calculations, a BUNCH of meds (many of which I have never heard of). After 75...the computer still kept going...It asked if I wanted to take a break twice, but I refused. After 150 I was ready to cry. I was exhausted and I felt like they were asking me the same questions but worded differently. I had sooo many SATA (I didn't count - but it was something I didn't really practice and I do NOT enjoy). I glanced at the time and I only had about 20 minutes left... I started to panic and tried to answer the questions faster, but still made sure I answered what I felt was the best one.. Question 201 or 202 my computer shuts off. I ran out of time. I wasn't even able to answer the question. I KNEW FOR SURE I FAILED!!!
The employee comes inside to get me. I WAS THE ONLY ONE LEFT AT THE TESTING SITE!! I felt horrible. I didn't realize that everyone had left. I walk out and see my dad waiting in the lobby. He waited for 2 hours even after telling him the test could go as long as 6. He said he didn't think I would take that long. On the way to my parents house, I told him I didn't want to talk to him or anyone else about it. I WAS BUMMED OUT!! I slept majority of the day...very depressed!
I found this site through google and started to read and read and read!! I learned about the PVT and tried it. I got the pop-up and felt a little better. JAN 4, 5, and 6 checked if I was licensed but there was nothing. Im in Southern California so I was hoping to see it by Jan 4th or 5th. I tried the PVT everyday since I've learned of it. Still see the pop-up. This morning about 330 AM my boyfriend wakes me up and says come here its important...
My name was there...license active...COMPLETE SHOCK!!! really couldn't believe it.
I know how it feels after you leave the site and feel like a complete failure. I decided to post my experience because this site has helped me these past several days. Everyone is very supportive and informative. I wish I could've learned about it before taking the exam. There are many useful things that test takers can take advantage of.
I do believe the PVT works!! After missing my test in October 09, I was able to make a payment through Pearson vue but i was not able to schedule a date until I received my ATT. This time around, I wasn't able to go to the CC page. So, if you're in CA, try it!!!
Good luck to all future test takers...Don't lose hope or ever give up!!!
I am wondering how quickly the "good pop-up" is accurate? I tested this morning and finished around 9:15am. I had 75q, with 11 SATA and tons of meds I had never heard of, but I think it was hard in a good way.
It is now only 11am of the same day and I tried the PVT and have the good pop-up. It sets my mind at ease, but I am wondering if I am jumping the gun. Oh well, I'll try it later, too!
Thanks geffen!! I would give them several days. I took it on December 30th and did not find out until about 330 AM on January 7th. I constantly checked everyday including last night around midnight but still did not see my name. So I basically did not find out until the 5th business day (they were closed on Friday due to the holiday). The date on the website is kind of confusing. This morning at 330 AM it said the last time it was updated was 1/5/09 but it was already the 7th. Don't go by that date. Just check everyday. I think the pop up is a very good sign.
As for the "good pop-up" I believe it's accurate once it says "Delivery Successful". That means your results were sent to the board.
