Pearsonvue Trick Is this TRUE? Does it work every time?

Well I haven't gotten my result yet and I tried the trick and it lets me pay and went all the way to almost to confirm my order but I didn't ... Does this mean that I failed the NCLEX-PN??

Can someone help me please? I am scared and I can't sleep now. I have another week or two wait for my result ... I stopped at 85. Does this mean I failed the exam? 

Steps To See If You Passed The NCLEX On Pearson VUE Website

STEP 1 This is a test. Go To NCLEX Examinations :: Pearson VUE.

STEP 2 Select The 'test Taker Services' Tab At The Top.

STEP 3 Click 'register' On The Right Side.

STEP 4 Click The 'credit Card' Link.

STEP 5 Click The 'sign In' Link In The Second Sentence.

STEP 6 Enter Your Username.

STEP 7 Enter Your Password.

STEP 8 Click The Button.

STEP 9 Click 'register' On The Left Side.

STEP 10 Select Your Test Type.

STEP 11 Click The Button.

STEP 12 Select Your Country.

STEP 13 Click The Button.

STEP 14 Answer The Yes/no Questions.

STEP 1 Select Your Country Again.

STEP 15 Select Your State.

STEP 16 Type In Your City.

STEP 17 Click The Button. A List Of Schools Should Appear.

STEP 18 Select Your School.

STEP 19 Select The Month And Year Of Your Graduation.

STEP 20 Select Your Board Of Nursing.

STEP 21 Click The Button.

Very important: At this point, if you get a pop up that says 'the candidate currently has test results that are on hold. A new registration cannot be created at this time.', it has nothing to do with passing or failing; it just means that they are reviewing your records due to random reviews that they conduct, or because they needed to locate some data or papers, etc. This means you will possibly have to wait a few more days than your friends who did not get this message. If you get the message 'our records indicate that you have recently scheduled this exam. Please contact your member board for further assistance. another registration cannot be made at this time.', that means you passed. If you do not get either message and go straight to the credit card information page, that means you did not pass.

Your Pearsonvue account must state that delivery is successful before you try the trick

I am in that boat and its freaking me out!! I passed 2 weeks ago but they are further investigating me. I had a driving on suspended in 02 and subbmited all the info, letters and court files as per my school. I get another letter stating they neeed to why it was suspended in the first place. I sent that letter about 1 week ago. I called and they said they have recieved it, but it will take a few weeks to get in my file. I had a second interview for a SNF. So, needles to say i Am so nervous. But The enforcement guy I was assigned to isnt on my case anymore.

yes, I did call the BON the guy kinda slip up a little because I tried to be a little coy about the questions that I asked. I pretended to play dumb, and told him I don't understand why my file went to there unit, and why its taking this long to process my file. He indicated, without looking up my information I remind you, he implied that if I had failed the results come from regular channels. So, I'm assuming that I passed because when I spoke with the Rep previously she indicated that enforcement will send out my results. I don't know I have a tickets on my records also.

Good afternoon everyone! How are you guys doing? Well ever since I found out that I passed my boards, I have received 3 offers for the RN position, including a DON position for a Hospice company. Not to mention a clinical lab coordinator! Oh my, I don't know what to do! I hate to say no to people, but what to do, what to do! I just want to work at a hospital to gain more knowledge and experience. Not so sure if I'm competent enough to be anyone's boss. I'm just too nice I think! Uggh, it's crazy and great at the same time! I love you all. Have a wonderful week. Will let you know of my progress as a new RN.

Hello everyone! I took the nclex pn yesterday and it stopped at 85 questions. I have checked the pearsonvue website and got the pop up...not sure what to think. I though the test was very hard and felt like I wasn't sure on a lot of the questions. I should find out my results tomorrow.

Hey Sheree.. I also felt the same as you.. I stopped on 85 and felt like crap afterwards...I had so many SATA and meds I had never seen in my life.. Where are you located? You said you will have your results tomorrow?

after 4 days of waiting and torture with the "test results on hold" pop-up i got this today:

our records indicate that you have recently scheduled this exam. please contact your member board for further assistance. another registration cannot be made at this time.

god is good!!!! please send good thoughts my way people. do not freak out when you get the pop-up message: "test results on hold" it will later change to what i have above which is the same message that everyone else received. i've waited sooooo long for this ... soooo long and almost gave up because i had to take it a second time. im shaking. i felt like a failure. but im telling you ... really have faith and if you think you don't have enough ... your friends and family will get you through it ... seriously. i will let you all know how i do with "official" results. =)

i took nclex rn ca bon on 11/23 i have the same pop up screen for 7days after delivery successful and would not let me go to cc page found out monday afternoon 11/30 changed and guide me to cc page. is that mean i failed. i guess i have to wait the official mail result.

5)click "register"

6)on exam code select nclex pn or nclex rn, language should be preselected english and then click next

then answer (examples)

have you ever taken an nclex exam before? = yes

have you ever taken an nclex exam to qualify for the same license? = yes

have you ever taken an nclex exam to qualify for a different license? = no

7)select the nursing program from which you graduated country = country where the school is situated/ state=state where the school is situated/ city =city where the school is situated then click search

8)choose your school, then fill up the month and the year of graduation (april, 2009 for example)

9)then select the board of nursing from which you are seeking licensure = (california board of nursing and psychiatric technicians for example)

10)then click next, if you go to the credit card page, there's a probability that you have failed. if you get a pop up saying "our records indicate that you have recently scheduled this exam. please contact your member board for further assistance. another registration cannot be made at this time." it's a good sign, and there's a probability that you may have[color=#00b050]passed.

hi bsnbadazz...hey, you asked me to keep you informed about my exam results status. well, its been one week since i took the exam and had my results "on hold" etc etc. to this day, i don't really know why they did that, but they said that my test was randomly selected for review for "quality control" purposes. apparently, ncsbn randomly picks tests to review. go figure.... anyway, i just checked and i finally (after 7 days) got my quick results (i'm laughing.....) and i passed!!!! it feels like a weight has been lifted off of me. i'm sorry to hear about the air conditioning problem in your testing location...that would just add insult to injury. i will tell you, though, that the pearson testing center where i took the exam happens to be located in the approach path for a nearby small municipal airport. so, every so often you could hear an airplane fly over. thank god for foam earplugs, that's all i have to say!

anyway, i got good news and i'm quite sure that you will too! i'm aware that ca doesn't participate in quick results (that must be wayyyyy annoying....) but i've never heard of anyone on here with an "on hold" status that didn't later pass the exam (i'm obviously proof of that...so don't stress too much :)

keep me informed of your eventual results..i'd be interested to know.

hi sageboi....hey i read your post about getting the "results on hold" message and hopefully i can try to answer that seeing as how the same thing happened to me. long story short, i took the test on 7/31/09 at 2 pm and tried the pv trick when i got home. well, i got the same "results on hold" message and freaked. well, i called ncsbn and they said that my test had been randomly selected for review for "quality control" purposes. apparently, they do that....randomly select tests to review to make sure that everything was conducted as it should be. i'm also aware from some other posters on here that results can be put on hold for other reasons (like, fingerprint cards not being submitted, taking the exam in under one hour...which apparently throws up a red flag). anyway, its been a week since i took the exam, and i finally got my so called quick results....i passed!!! the bottom line is that if you got a pop-up like that (no matter what it said) and you were not permitted to go to the payment page, then most likely you are fine, and passed the exam. i've read several other posts on this forum from people who had the "on hold" message and later found that they passed the test. i'm obviously one of those people. so, its very likely that you will find out that you passed in a few days.
