Some tester have done this I think ... the trick to re-register again to Pearsonvue . If it lets you register and pay again that means you failed and if stop you from paying that means you passed.
Updated:
Members are discussing their experiences with the NCLEX exam, specifically focusing on the Pearsonvue Trick (PVT) to determine if they passed. Some are sharing their test dates, the "good pop-up" results they received, and the anxiety of waiting for official results. There is also confusion around account blocks, credit card charges, and the implications for exam outcomes.
Well I haven't gotten my result yet and I tried the trick and it lets me pay and went all the way to almost to confirm my order but I didn't ... Does this mean that I failed the NCLEX-PN??
Can someone help me please? I am scared and I can't sleep now. I have another week or two wait for my result ... I stopped at 85. Does this mean I failed the exam?

Very important: At this point, if you get a pop up that says 'the candidate currently has test results that are on hold. A new registration cannot be created at this time.', it has nothing to do with passing or failing; it just means that they are reviewing your records due to random reviews that they conduct, or because they needed to locate some data or papers, etc. This means you will possibly have to wait a few more days than your friends who did not get this message. If you get the message 'our records indicate that you have recently scheduled this exam. Please contact your member board for further assistance. another registration cannot be made at this time.', that means you passed. If you do not get either message and go straight to the credit card information page, that means you did not pass.
Your Pearsonvue account must state that delivery is successful before you try the trick
I took my first test on April 13th 2009 had 75 questions. I did the PV trick 2 hours after i took the test and it took me to the CC page, I did it again like 5 more time and finially belived I failed. I got my results two days alter and I failed.
Well, I just took my test again for the second time and I got 265 questions. I waited to do the PV trick (well actually my friend did it for me because I was to scared) and it did not take me to the CC page. I have tried it 3 more time and I am getting the same message everyone else has that has passed the test.
We had 48 students in my class, I told everyone about it since I was one of the first to take the test and it has worked PERFECTLY for 33 students who have taken so far.
I believe this PV trick really does work.
For thoughs of you who don't pass the first time, PLEASE dont get down on yourself. I took a week off and then I started the study process over again, that GOD I had such good friends who offered to tutor me and I spent 3 to 4 days a week at the library 3-5hours a day.
Good luck everyone.
This is probably a silly question, but can't you just go on your BON website the next day and see if there is a license # by your name?
I've heard you can in NY anyway.
Don't get me wrong, I'm taking my test Monday, and I will be doing this, and every other thing i can think of to know how I did ASAP, but I'm just wondering if other states are different...
I was very skeptical of this trick. I took the Nclex on Wed. at 1pm. I had 75 questions and left the testing center a nervous wreck. I just knew that I had failed. The SC BON takes so long to post. I went home and tried to re-register and could not. I found out today at 3pm that I passed. One of my friends try to re-register afer she took hers and it allowed he to. Needless to say she failed, with 75 questions.
I just tried to re-register again 4 hours after being done with my test and it is still giving me the message to contact the nursing boards and that I can not register for another test at this time. Even though I was the one who told all my friends about this trick, I am still scared about this not working. None of them were able to get to the CC screen and got the same message I did and they all passed.
It's so scary to have failed the first time (I was able to get to the Credit Card payment screen) and not have that little bit well a lot of doubt still inside.
I will let everyone know on Sunday if I passed or not. But, feeling like I just might me a new RN :)
Pray for me.

aprila1 - just to let you know that i said a little prayer for you and everyone of us here who are eagerly awaiting our results. as hebrews 11:1 says, " faith is being sure of what you hope for and certain of what you do not see..." i am pretty sure you passed.

This works in Vermont -- I took the NCLEX-RN yesterday, finished around 2 pm, when I checked the VT BON web site this morning at 10 am, there was my name with "Registered nurse -- active" next to it! I'm sure it varies widely among states though...
To all those that doubt the pearsonvue trick! As promised...I took the NCLEX PN test on May 04, 2009. About 2-3 days after my friend who did the trick AND PASSED told me about it. I got the anticipated error message that "you have recently scheduled an exam. Please contact your board of nursing...etc," which is the so called indicator that you passed. I checked it daily until today 06-05-2009. I got the same error message until today and do you know why? It's because....I PASSED !!! woot woot. This trick does work. Two of my classmates took the test as well and got all the way to the credit card section and I am waiting for a reply if they passed or not. I will keep you guys posted. TO ALL THOSE THAT DOUBT THIS METHOD OR ARE SKEPTICAL ABOUT IT. ALL I CAN SAY IS --- !!! IIITTTT WOOORRRKKKKSSSSS !!!
