this is the first time i heard of the term. i do not really see anything wrong with it unless it is used in a derogatory fashion. names and labels are used for identification, not name-calling or stereotyping. just my thought on the thread..

the trick works! the pearsonvue trick is actually a treat for all nclex passers in states that do not participate in quick results. you can refer to my previous posts, how extremely anxious and apprehensive i was since i took my test on may 22. unlike my two other classmates, they both stopped at 85, and we all know that if you stop at 85, then in all likelihood you passed. i stopped at 88 in less than 2 hours and thought that i failed miserably. i know that i missed the easier infection control questions and got the harder medication, diseases and sata questions, but deep in my heart, i know i have failed. if most of you cried after the test, i literally grieved and was inconsolable for several days, even when i was already logging in and receiving the pearson pop-up. i was totally defeated, felt inadequate and hated myself for not studying more. i secretly despised my husband for watching too much basketball which lured me into watching it with him instead of focusing on my review! my close friend took the test two days ahead of me, got all the way to the credit card page and must have received her results earlier than me, but up to now, she said she has not received her test results. i have a sinking feeling that she failed but is just so depressed to admit it. so to all the skeptics, add me to the success statistics! i took the test may 22, stopped at 88, went home hurt and defeated, got the pearsonvue pop-up, got my results yesterday on june 19. the biggest surprise of my entire life - i passed the nclex-pn! to god be the glory and thanksgiving! faith, hardwork and the trick do work!!!

aprila1 - just to let you know that i said a little prayer for you and everyone of us here who are eagerly awaiting our results. as hebrews 11:1 says, " faith is being sure of what you hope for and certain of what you do not see..." i am pretty sure you passed.

hi tamhoxie, i'm just wondering where the mailed review course came from. did it come from pearson vue or some other provider? i will appreciate it if you can give me a quick reply...

i took my nclex-pn may 22 and tried the trick about half a day later and it did not let me in. it's been the 3rd day since i took the test and i log in and re-register about 2x a day just to make sure i see the famous pop-up. i guided my friend (who took the test may 20) to the registration process this morning, filled out the short questionnaire and boom - she got to her original info page up to the credit card page. as expected, she became more anxious and unbelieving at the same time. i just calmed her down and assured her that this is a trick and not 100 percent full-proof, although i wish it is since it gives me a little peace of mind and reassurance about my test results. without the trick, i really do not know how i can hold on to my sanity, because having us wait for more than a month for results that others get in two days is very cruel and unfair. when i pass (not if, with fingers crossed!), i would like to ask for all your help here to help me draft an petition letter or appeal to the california board of vocational nursing to make quick results available to spare us the indescribable trauma and anxiety that we in california are currently experiencing...

i took my nclex-pn may 22 at 11:15 am. i tried the pearsonvue trick and it blocked me from registering again saying i should contact the board. it's been 24 hours since i took the test and up to now, my anxiety level is still way way up. please anyone, how reliable is this trick? am i just getting my hopes up? i stopped at 88, not 85, and that makes me real scared. i just want some moral support because the waiting is so agonizing, it's killing me... now i am asking myself why i took the test here in california and not elsewhere where they can get quickresults within 48 hours or so.... anyone please enlighten me about the trick, if it indeed works....

thanks.. i just took my nclex-pn this afternoon so i really don't know if the trick worked for me. i tried to re-register and it also blocked me. i will do the same tomorrow and see what happens. my classmate has been doing this since she took the test april 27, and it was also not accepting her registration. anyway, i did this just to decrease my anxiety level. anyway, thanks and good luck to you too!

how do you do the pearsonvue trick?

i also took the nclex-pn just now and stopped at 88. i am worried about the results. anybody from california here who passed at 88? we have to wait from 3-6 weeks for the results...
