  9. Click 'register' on the left side.

  13. Click the button.
  14. Answer the yes/no questions.
  15. Select your country again.
  16. Select your state.
  17. Type in your city.
  18. Click the button. a list of schools should appear.
  19. Select your school.
  20. Select the month and year of your graduation.
  21. Select your board of nursing.
  22. Click the button.

Very important: At this point, if you get a pop up that says 'the candidate currently has test results that are on hold. A new registration cannot be created at this time.', it has nothing to do with passing or failing; it just means that they are reviewing your records due to random reviews that they conduct, or because they needed to locate some data or papers, etc.

This means you will possibly have to wait a few more days than your friends who did not get this message. If you get the message 'Records indicates you have recently registered for this test please contact BON. An appointment cannot be scheduled at this time.', that means you passed. If you do not get either message and go straight to the credit card information page, that means you did not pass.

Your Pearsonvue account must state that delivery is successful before you try the trick.

Thank you. However, there are hundred of posts regarding the PVT for both RN's and LPN's. If you want more information about whether the trick works or not, I advise you to visit this thread, which contains thousands of posts about the results of the PVT.

I took mine on 3/9/12 as well!!! Mine was at 1500 and I checked as soon as I got home. I got the message saying I couldn't register at this time too so hopefully it's true. I'm in Ohio so I'll probably know for sure tomorrow since they are pretty quick about posting to the BON website. Good luck!

I understand your pain. I took the NCLEX-RN on Friday and less than two hours later was trying the pvt trick. I got the good pop-up. I paid for quick results today and found out it was true. I did pass. But the past couple of days have been hard. I have reviewed many threads (as mentioned in the above post) on allnurses and other web sites but still could not trust the info completely. I was looking for even one poster who got the good pop-up and then found out they failed. Although there have been a couple of posts about getting to the CC page then finding out they passed, no one out there reports getting the good pop-up but failing. Know why? It doesn't happen! Try to relax. And rejoice in the fact that it's over! Congratulations! You passed!

Relax. I searched high and low for someone who got the good pop-up but found out they failed. Doesn't happen. Congrats! You passed!

i took my nclex-pn on feb 24th @1300 , in california. i received the letter that i passed on march 5th :) i also did the pvt trick & it does work:) congrats on passsing :)

Congrats! But do you mean "205" questions not 213. Minimum for LPN is 205.

hello Ashley I know there is a lot of post regarding the pvt but I just wanted to share my own experience with you guys, and since California work a little different in providing results I thought it will be a good idea to keep people updated and how long is actually taking to get them thanks for your comments.

:D

Hi! grace24 yes sorry I did get 205 questions thanks for that lol Thanks for the Congrats too I just hope it is true and I pass :p

Hello lilmamastar thanks for all the support and the words of comfort :bowingpur I really hope I do pass and it doesn't take forever to get the official results, and Congratulations on passing I'm sure u are feeling awesome right that you pass :nurse:

Hello Sara42975 first I would like to congratulate you on PASSING YUPPPPP :yeah: I'm feeling exactly the way you were feeling and I really hope this is all true and I do pass lol, it sucks because in California we can't get the 48 hrs results  which makes the situation even more stressing but for what I have heard it takes only from 2-15 days to get the results so hopefully I get them by the end of this week. Thanks for your post and Congrats again :nurse:

Congratulations!!!

Congratulations! I passed too! So the trick did work for me.
