  3. Click 'register' on the right side.
  4. Click the 'credit card' link.
  5. Click the 'sign in' link in the second sentence.
  6. Enter your username.
  7. Enter your password.
  8. Click the button.
  9. Click 'register' on the left side.
  10. Select your test type.

  15. Select your country again.
  16. Select your state.
  17. Type in your city.
  18. Click the button. a list of schools should appear.
  19. Select your school.
  20. Select the month and year of your graduation.
  21. Select your board of nursing.
  22. Click the button.

Very important: At this point, if you get a pop up that says 'the candidate currently has test results that are on hold. A new registration cannot be created at this time.', it has nothing to do with passing or failing; it just means that they are reviewing your records due to random reviews that they conduct, or because they needed to locate some data or papers, etc.

This means you will possibly have to wait a few more days than your friends who did not get this message. If you get the message 'Records indicates you have recently registered for this test please contact BON. An appointment cannot be scheduled at this time.', that means you passed. If you do not get either message and go straight to the credit card information page, that means you did not pass.

Your Pearsonvue account must state that delivery is successful before you try the trick.

Thx lehnurse! My fingers crossed for u! Please keep us posted, this is a website full of wonderful, kind, caring people. Know we r all pulling for u!

please disregard - i just found my answer :) good luck everyone

what if i rec'v this comment our records indicate that you have recently scheduled this exam. please contact your member board for further assistance. another registration cannot be made at this time.

does this mean i probably failed because it does not state the candidate has previously passed this exam

I told myself that right after I get my results, I would definitely comment on the Pearson Vue trick. I am hoping that this would be able to help somebody alleviate any worries that they might have and possibly help them save $7.95.

I took my exam Jan 14, 2012. After about an hour and half of total confusion and the computer shutting off on me after the 75th question, I was very sure that I had failed the exam. I only knew 2 questions. I left the examination room totally defeated. On my way out, one of the attendants there asked me how I think I did and I honestly told her that I did not know and I was really hoping I passed because I did not want to spend another $200 on the same exam. She then told me that I could wait and get my results that same day. I said 'really?' and then she said yeah. That if I waited till about 12 midnight for sure I may be able to pay to get the unofficial result (at this point I was under the impression that it took 2 business to get the result and being that monday was a holiday - MLK - I would have to wait till tuesday). Then this kind lady then told me about the 'trick'. She said she heard that it works and that I could try it. Before now I had never heard of such a trick and i was grateful that she told me. I thought about how this trick works and it makes perfect sense

Listen, I am very objective and like to face facts. This is a capitalist society in which we live in - meaning its all about the bottom line. It makes total sense that if one fails the NCLEX, a way is provided immediately for that person to register. We are talking about money here. It also makes sense that if one passes the NCLEX the person cannot register because if that person registers and pays the non refundable fee and later finds out that they passed - isnt that a law suit possiblity that pearsonvue would do anything to avoid? So to avoid such things, if you pass you cannot register and if you fail you can register but would have to wait for the BON to send you a new ATT so you can set a date.

Now I have read some comments where people still do not believe the trick and they called pearson vue to ask them if the trick works. Let me ask you this - If I am selling a product in order to make money, do you think I would tell you where to get it for free? Let that be food for thought. Do you think Pearson vue would tell you that you can do the trick for free to know the outcome of your examination or ask you to give them $7.95 so they can give you the answer.

My conclusion is that the trick works 100% all the time if you try it after successfull delivery of the exam ( it should say that on your account page). If you get a pop up that would not let you register then you have passed. i know some people who try it and get the cc page still like to hold on to hope and believe that they still passed. I have to say that there is still hope of passing but not that exam. You would have to register for another exam in hopes of passing.

So back to me. I took nclex Rn on Saturday 14 by 930a, was out about 10 mins before 11a, got home about 1p, tried the trick and it wont let me register. Ofcourse I was still anxious and still wanted to try again to be double sure. I went out came back by 8p only to find out that Pearson Vue website was having maintenance and I couldnt do anything till 12 midnight. Ofcourse I stayed up so I could try again and I still got the pop-up. I was still not convinced. Tried on sunday and then on monday. By monday i see the option to pay to view my unofficial result but I refused to do that. I decided to check the BON site to see. Ofcourse nothing - its a holiday. So I waited till now tuesday to check and voila what I knew all along but just had to confirm it before posting here - I passed. Thank God

Success to all who would be taking the exam soon.

Took my NCLEX-RN exam this morning (almost 30 SATA, cut off after 75 questions, most of which had drugs that I had never heard of let alone knew how to answer!), checked pv.com and it said delivery successful and would not let me register, got the "good" pop up. I'm in Cali so no quick results, but I will post and let you know if it worked. My friend who went with me and tested today also got this message. By the way, I've read all three parts on these boards, all of the posts, and I am a believer in this trick! :yeah:

Now I am going to take a nap -- I hardly slept at all last night and I'm exhausted!
