  22. Click the button.

Very important: At this point, if you get a pop up that says 'the candidate currently has test results that are on hold. A new registration cannot be created at this time.', it has nothing to do with passing or failing; it just means that they are reviewing your records due to random reviews that they conduct, or because they needed to locate some data or papers, etc.

This means you will possibly have to wait a few more days than your friends who did not get this message. If you get the message 'Records indicates you have recently registered for this test please contact BON. An appointment cannot be scheduled at this time.', that means you passed. If you do not get either message and go straight to the credit card information page, that means you did not pass.

Your Pearsonvue account must state that delivery is successful before you try the trick.

Everyone I just realized that Monday is MLK day (holiday). Will that postpone the releasing of our results? Anyone hv any info on this or past experiences.

Ok just checked Pearson Vue quick results and I am officially an RN!!!!!!! I was told that I would have to wait until 48 business days (took it Thursday and should have gotten the results Tue but got them an hour ago) The PVT works!!!!! I had failed a few times before, always got the CC section except for this time and I thought 100% that I failed when I left the testing center, waterworks and all. 2yrs 8 months post graduation, 3 tests later, $2,000.00 in fees, to say I am an RN... PRICELESS ;)

For everone else that got the same "old" good popup and is still awaiting your results... YOU PASSED!!!!! I know you won't be able to celebrate until you see it for yourself but congratulations in advance!!! xoxo

I took my NCLEX RN on Thursday, January 12, 2012. I had never heard of the Pearson Vue trick until one of the other nursing students (from another school) had finished his exam and mentioned it to the Pearson Vue representative. Of course the Pearson Vue rep said he never heard of this, but I went home and tried it.....

It was the longest couple of seconds of my life. I got the "good" pop up.

I am still wondering however if this "trick" still works? I am supposed to be getting my results in just a couple of hours.

I will return to post whether the trick worked or not.

Wish me luck!

OMG! I just got my Quick Results and I PASSED! Wahoo! I am flying high, still in shock! I tested on 1/12/12 and have been checking Pearson since Thursday evening, got the "old" good pop-up (u recently scheduled, contact ur board cant schedule at this time). I have been on this site chatting with many people and it has really helped me! Thanks to all of you have friended me in this crazy time. At 12:30 I checked this site again and a very kind woman Yvette had posted that she received the same pop-up as I did and just checked quick results and she passed. I immediately logged in to Pearson and it said my unofficial results were available, I paid that 7.95 faster than I ever paid anything before. I was sweating and having palpitations the entire time, then it came up.....status: Pass! Thanks to everyone for ur support. Congrats to all of you who passed. For anyone who didnt here is my quick story. I graduated in 2003, tested in 10/2003 failed, tested again in june 2006 failed, took kaplan (which was expensive but worth every penny, online for 3mths) this time and passed 9 years (NINE) after graduating. Hang in there and keep trying u can do it, if I did it anyone can. I studied faithfully which was hard because I have 2 very needy boys 5yrs and 3yrs, but I managed to do it this time. Dont get discouraged, keep trying, the feeling of passing is worth the time and money! And to msalethia, if u still want my study aides let me know! Otherwise, I will be burning them on my front lawn, lol!

^

Congratulations!

:) Sigh I havent gotten my result yet..

Sure i would love to have those

:c Goodluck to me!

I just graduated last March 2011..

Still waiting in vain~~~

@ jea

can I know up to how many times are we allowed to take the exam?

and if I retake, do i have to REAPPLY again (and pay 150$) + another 200$ for the exam?

-_- Ouch for my wallet

Congratulations Yvette!!!

Congratulations to you as well jea!!!!

I want to tell you all that this site and one other are the only things that have kept me from going absolutely crazy the past day and a half. This is a great forum and I wish I would have known about it sooner!

I am so happy for you!!!!! It sound's like you had a long journey as so many of us have as well and you did it!!! I am looking forward to the bright future ahead for all of us! Enjoy it for we have all worked so hard to get here!!!! :)

I had to pay $30 to my state each time and $200 to the testing center. PA doesnt have a limit on how many times you test. Some states do though and some will let u test 2 or 3 times and then u have to do some type of refresher course before u can take nclex again. I found out by googling and emailing my state board before I paid any fees. I hope this is helpful info.
