Pearson vue trick

Happy to inform you that the Pearson Vue Trick Works!

i took my nclex may 4th and was skeptical about trying the pearson vue trick:bag:..after some convincing from fellow classmates i tried it, it had been about 2 hours after my test submitted my credit card with no funds and it gave me the good pop up...told my friend and she said to try again in 48hrs for the test had to be graded twice! i waited the 48 hours and tried again ( i was so nervous) and bam!!!i got the good pop up again for the first week after my test i must have tried the pearson vue trick about 4 times and each time i got the good pop up the following week i did not try but then the 3rd week i decided to try again..and was relieved to get the good pop up again!!:) today ..EXACTLY 4 weeks after my test i received my letter stating that i PASSED!:)

Congratulations. I hope to get my results soon. :)

Congratulations

Congrats on passing! I think, though, that I need to put some info here.....I just posted this on another thread, but once I read this one, I felt it was appropriate here, too:

Pearson Vue's registration program has been increasing its use of 'test' charges, which is where the risk comes in if someone does use a valid CC number. Your having done this multiple times and not getting a 'bad pop up' was a lucky venture.

HOWEVER, and it's a biggie, even if someone uses the incorrect data when the 'test' charge is made, how do you think they'd react upon getting the 'bad pop up' message? When the attempt is made to charge the card and it doesn't go through, the person doing the PVT gets a message along the lines of "contact your bank/card issuer", something variation of that. Which is what makes the person who gets that message freak out over having failed the exam.

It's happened enough times now ( I have read enough times on this forum, as well as PM's I have received from those too embarrassed to post their experiences on the forum) to know it's a bad plan.

These people feel absolutely awful, they are crying/hysterical/upset/whatever, and if they DID pass, it's all for NOTHING! Complete angst over having failed the exam......and it turns out they didn't.

If someone gets a 'good pop up' and then goes on to do the PVT again....and again....it only serves to increase the chances that they WILL have a charge attempt made. At that point, they are here freaking out that they thought they had passed "I GOT THE GOOD POP UP!!" and then they are SO upset that they did not (because of the newly-gotten 'bad pop up').

My goal in responding to all these "PVT WORKS!!" posts is not to be negative, it's to let people know that they risk much more than a couple hundred bucks. They risk their mental health in despairing over this. I'm not exaggerating, I see it as a very real consequence; people put everything they have, hopes/dreams, $$, and even believing for a few weeks that they failed can be disastrous to them.

Just worth considering, when sharing the "try PVT, it works!" commentary.
