I took my NCLEX in AL yesterday and as soon as it said delivery successful, I tried the trick and I got the good pop up!! Then today when I looked on the AL Board of Nursing my name is listed as an active RN as of today!! :) So the trick works still as of 1/9/14. I still cannot believe I'm officially a Registered Nurse!!
The pearson vue trick does work as of 03/24/14. If you get the message along this message: You have already registered and and cannot register. Please contact your board member and cannot go thru the cc page then you passed. I took my board for the 4th time considering It has has been 2 and a half years since I finished school. Steps for passing the board. (1) pray (2) take many practice questions. (3) know lab values (4) learn critical thinking (5) know which patients to access first (4) know your abc's (5) eat a good protein breakfast (6) don't look at the clock or wondering when you will get kicked out. (7) don't read into questions (8) know how to eliminate incorrect answers. Remember you have 5 or 6 hours depending which test you take(rn or pn). WITH GOD ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE. !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It was 2 and a half years since I finished school and I was determined to pass. Last hang around only positive people that will only support you and your goal. Hopefully this is a word of encouragement for the many future nurses. A. R. LVN(PN)
I just want to tell everyone that if you get the "good poop up", you pass the test. I did my test on the 27, got the "good poop up" right after the test and on the 29 my name was post in BON. :) Don't listen to those people that say it doesn't work, be confident and happy that there is 99.9% chance you pass the NCLEX.
I'm very very skeptical that this "trick" works. I took the NCLEX-RN on Friday at 2:00. At around question 45 I started praying.. "God, please DON'T let this computer shut off at 75"... I knew that at that point I was failing. I needed to redeem myself. I was getting one SATA after another. I was being tested on things we were never even taught in school. At one point I felt like I was playing eenie meenie miney mo. So, when it was time for me to advance from q 75 to 76 I was terrified. I hesitated... I hit the button and got the blue screen.. It stopped at 75.. I was done in under an hour. I failed, I know it. It is now Sunday and I'm still getting the "good" pop-up.. My friends are congratulating me like they KNOW that I've passed. I'm not convinced. Two of my classmates tested on Thursday and their names were up on the board's website early yesterday morning. Mine isn't up. I live in Ca and don't have the "quick" results option. This whole thing is torture... I just want to know so that I can move on from here....

Took my NCLEX-PN today and kept a tally on the dry erase board you receive. I got all 205 ?s. By question 36 I was on my 15th SATA. 1/4 to 1/3 of my exam was which client of the 4 admitted would you see first or what PPE is needed when dealing with a client with __?__. I had 7 strips and tons of OB and menopause questions (the latter is not my strongest topic ). I also believe I had to put the steps in order for every skill a nurse performs. Of the 20+ drugs I remember getting asked about, I was only familiar with a couple. Needless to say, the computer cut off at 205 and I nearly threw up walking to my vehicle. After getting home over an hour later, I tried the Pearson Vue "trick" and got the GOOD error message!!!!!!!!!! I either barely passed, or the computer wanted to play some disgusting trick and see just how much information I knew.
