Pearson Vue Trick NOT accurate

The Pearson Trick doesn't work for everyone! Nothing is for certain until you see the actual results! Nursing Students NCLEX Article

Updated:

Hello all! Those of you who are about to take your NCLEX or just finished and want to try the PEARSON VUE TRICK, just don't and wait that 48 hours for quick results or how ever long your state requires.

I just took my NCLEX last week and was shut off at 75.

I was antsy and went home and tried to sleep and waited. I read hundreds of testimonies and there was even a website that is dedicated to the Pearson Vue trick and walks you step by step!

My friends all did it and it worked for them, showed them the "good pop up" which said they were already registered for an exam and cannot register at this time, etc. Some used a fake CC, most used a valid, and some used valid with wrong exp date.

So I'm thinking if it works for 12 of my close friends it should work for me? No.

Anyways so they tell you to wait about 6-8 hours to check. Which I did wait 12 hours, and I went through and filled it all out with a valid CC and only changed the exp date and it got declined! The message that popped up was that my credit card was invalid and declined! Which means they tried to take my payment ... So I was devastated!

48 hours later I checked my quick results thinking I was going to fail, and I didn't, I passed!

I took it April 26th, found out I passed the 28th, and was officially on the BON website the 30th!

Honestly, just wait! The Pearson Trick doesn't work for everyone! Nothing is for certain until you see the actual results!

Okay, but like I said in my original post, Mun friends used FAKE credit cards and they got the GOOD POP UP. Or do you not know how to read...?

You really should consider how posts like this come off as a new member. Rude and dismissive will not get you anywhere in life. Please do not take this attitude into your first nursing job. You will regret it.

Wow...OP got nasty real quick! Honestly, every post I've ever read on here about the PVT - and there have been MANY...WAAAAY TOO MANY!! Like meanmaryjean said, I could do without ever seeing another post about PVT - Does it work? I got the good pop up, does that mean I passed? I got the bad pop up, does that mean I failed? ETC. ETC. How the heck would any of us know if it means if you passed or failed? We weren't there. We didn't grade your exam. We have no idea! It works sometimes, other times it doesn't. But what I have never understood, is people who have said they used a different expiration date or a fake credit card number - I don't understand how that could work at all? I would assume it would come back as an invalid credit card. No good or bad pop up, just that you used an invalid credit card. In other posts people are always saying that PVT has been around for so long, that it wouldn't work now because they would know about it and stop that little "backdoor" people use to find out early whether they passed or not. But, why would they? They can use it to get people's money who are so stressed about waiting a few days for quick results (or longer depending where you live if you don't have quick results), that they would be willing to use a valid credit card and risk losing that money if they get the bad pop up and really passed. Personally, I wasn't willing. I like my money way too much to risk it! LoL! But to each his own!

Anyways, glad you passed!

On a side note, as meanmaryjean said, you might want to think about how your posts come off. You shouldn't just pop off because someone said something you didn't like. No one was outright mean or nasty to you. They just were saying what they thought. They didn't outright insult you or call you names. They just felt that you didn't do it correctly, because you used the incorrect expiration date. That doesn't call for you do be nasty. Maybe just consider the way you respond to people next time! This is a great place with lots of great people, each with their own thoughts and perspectives on things, which can be very helpful! Try to be a little nicer in your responses!

Again, congrats on passing!

So having taken my exam for the second time yesterday I was reading a lot about the PVT. I graduated 4/2017 and took my boards the first time 8/21/2017.. I had my daughter a week before I graduated and knew I had failed as soon as the test was over because I didn't really get to study like I needed to due to being a new mom, working nights. I got 222 questions and I decided to try the PVT. My card was declined when I tried to re-register and I wasn't surprised. Fast forward to 6/7/2018 I took my exam at 8am, the test kicked off at 86 questions then went to the research and survey sections. I felt a lot better this time around. I did the Pearson trick at about 5pm and then continuously throughout the the day and I kept getting the "good pop up" stating that I could not register for the exam. At about 6:40am today 6/8/2018. I got an email from the Ohio Board of Nursing with my license number :):)!! I just wanted to tell my story and confirm that the trick worked for me!!

So I wrote my NCLEX early this morning (June 8), and I went to do the Pearson VUE trick around 3pm... I got a pop up saying "The candidate currently has an open registration for this exam. A new registration cannot be made at this time."

Does this mean I'm checking too soon??? Just wondering if anyone knows what this pop up means...

Hey y'all! A Texan here. I took the exam this morning at 8am; went off at 75 questions. I felt terrible and was for sure I failed because I took a credit card that had zero money on it and enter day and got the bad pop up like five minutes after walking out of the exam. Five hours later I just entered my real credit card number that works knowing that I could've lost $200 and got the good pop-up is this a good sign; Now that it Is showing good pop up?

Thanks:)

What did you do different this? What was your study materials?

Well my first time I used NCLEX mastery but I really didn't study that well. I also took Kaplan while in school and again I didn't study that well. This time I retook Kaplan and did mostly all of their questions as well as doing the NCLEX mastery app and purchasing their simulation exams. I Also got the mark klimek lectures from a friend and listened to all of those. I periodically studied for a couple months and then 3 weeks before my exam I really knuckled down and started doing 100's of questions a day :)

Hi guys!

I took the NCLEX-PN today at 2:00 P.M. I finished at 3:30 P.M. with the minimum 85 questions. I received an email from Pearson Vue at 4:00 P.M. I immediately went to Pearson Vue, went through the registration process and entered my correct credit card number but incorrect expiration date (this tricks the system, so even if you did fail you won't be charged $200). I received the "good pop up" which states "Our records indicate that you have recently scheduled this exam. Another registration cannot be made at this time."

Now I'm waiting for my final results from AZ board of nursing or quick view results from Pearson Vue...whichever comes sooner!

~Can anyone tell me how long the AZ state board typically takes to confirm a pass or fail on their license verification website?

~Has anyone ever heard of someone getting the "good pop up" and still failing?

Do a search for PVT or pearson vue trick....there are a million posts about it that will tell you stories of it working, stories of getting the good pop up and failing, stories of getting the bad pop up and passing, etc.

I am not from AZ but I don't think anyone gets the good pop up and actually fails. You got the correct pop up, so you should pass. The people who claim that they get a "false postive" are those who got the wrong pop up but think it's the right one. I did mine as soon as I got the email and it worked for me! The PVT is accurate!!

Hello,

I know there are millions of questions about this but I wanted to ask again. I had 75 questions and got only 18 data 1 pick order and no dosage calcs. I thought the test was easy but I do not know if I overstudied therefore I thought it was easy or I failed miserably. I got the good popup in Pearson VUE truck. The "canadiate currently has an open registration for this exam...."

I had two questions. Is there anyone who got 75 questions and good pearson trick but failed.

Also should I be concerned in the low amount of SATA (18), only one pick order, and no dosage calc.

Sorry I am just freaking out.

I will post updates.
