Pearson Vue trick July 2016

Nursing Students NCLEX

Published

I took my NCLEX RN today and got 75 questions. About 18 SATA, 3 exhibit, and 3 drag and drop (didn't start counting until I was on 12). I tried the pearson vue trick as soon as I got home at about 4ish. I got the good pop up, but I'm still skeptical. I tried again at 9ish and still got the good pop up. I'm in Texas, so I can get my quick results Thursday, but I am wide awake thinking, hoping, and praying.

I used my real credit card information and went all the way to the end, but when I hit submit I got the "good pop up."

Has anyone ever gotten the good pop up and failed?

Took my nckex-rn July 26 in CA..stopped at 75 questions..feel like I failed miserably..there's no way I passed because I felt like I didn't know any of the questions...even looked up answers after the test and so I know I got alot wrong...tried the pearson vue trick 2 hours and 24 hours after test and get the "good pop up" .... hope this trick works! California doesn't do quick results so I'm dying over here

Hi. No result yet? Did you do the trick? Good luck to you.

I'm in the same boat!!! Took mine yesterday and have been anxious out of my mind. I'm in CA too and my test stopped at 75. I had more than half of my test as SATA ...... I walked out of there completely numb and balled my eyes out in the car.

Hello, what is the "good pop" that you mentioned in your post?

This post was started in 2016. Scroll back to the beginning to see instructions. Yes, you will fill out exactly as if you were going to take it again. It will take you through the whole process. Good pop up, you passed! I just did this method in July 2016 and it worked.

i took nclex rn today. shut off at 75, took me two hours. my exam sounds exactly like yous. ekg strips, drags, select alls, so many pt teaching & priority. i didnt get the good pop up and i didnt get the bad pop up. i got "candidate exam results are currently on HOLD, and i cannot re register at this time" im going INSANE. ive read and researched and few sites say it can be one of many things. most likely due to the fact that the proctor made me rescan my hand several times bc they didnt read. plus i am already in the sustem bc im an LPN and took nclexpn and passed 1st time 85 questions in 2011. but seriously, i cant sleep im sick to my stomach. if you have any information about this exam on hold, or have heard of this before, id appreciate if you can get back to me, im really such a mess!

Mine said on hold for maybe 24h after I tested. I was a hot mess too. I actually hadnt planned to try the popup test at all as I had convinced myself Id failed. Wait till 24h after you finished exam and try it then.

I literally waited until 1350, ten mins before my test began on the day after I tested and got that message. Then approximately at the time I finished it was like magic. Good pop up! I also had previously tested as an LPN.

This is horrible torchure. today is 48 hours. still on hold. ive read this can take up to a week. im just so upset at this point please if i failed just let me know!! if they make me wait up to a week just to let me know that i failed, i will indeed complain to who i am not really sure, but its just so so so unfair! still hoping and praying. congrats to you on passing!

i passed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! what a relief

Hi! I took the NCLEX last month (September '16), finished it at 265 questions in 5hrs... I tell you, it was draining but i didn't get frustrated because i know that I'm doing well as long as the computer is still giving me some questions. I got a lot of SATA, drag and drop AND PRIORITY Qs. After the exam i felt confident that i made it , i didn't feel tired nor hungry because i when there prepared. I did the pearson vue trick after 1hr, 10 hrs, 24hrs n after 2 days but i didn't get the good pop up. I was devastated/furious because i thought i failed as everyone is saying W/O a "GOOD POP UP" You didn't make it, after that i quit checking and i leave everything behind. 64hrs after, my Husband check the BON site and hello! My name was there with my license number and expiration. "I made it! and after 5 days i got my Certificate and a letter of Congratulations... Know I'm a BSN RN. The POP UP is not doing good for me and it is NOT RELIABLE.

In case your wondering what tools/books I have used to study. I used KAPLAN, HURST and studied a little bit in Saunders book but the questions in Saunders is way too easy for me. ;-)

I took the NCLEX last October 27, 2016 9:00 AM. Answered a number of SATAs, hotspots (drag and drop, etc), prioritization, delegations, ECG tracings, and the typical multiple choice questions. Computer shutdown after answering 75 items. Finished the exam in 1 hour and 30 minutes. Tried the PVT trick after 12 and 24 hours and the "GOOD POP-UP" displayed. I think the trick is still reliable as a screening tool if you pass, but still the Quick Results is still the confirmatory test (hahaha sounds like lab exam). Paid for the Quick Results and received the good news. I passed! Officially an RN of New York State :)

Best books/materials/online resources to study:

1. La Charity & et al. Prioritization, Delegation, and Assignment

2. Saunders (Esp. the Safety chapter)

3. Kaplan Online (very difficult questions good endurance test)

4. Hogan's NCLEX exam (software, this is my main Q&A practice tool)

5. Audio Tutorials

6. NursesLab.com (NCLEX q&a)

Good luck to all aspiring nurses who will take the NCLEX! :)

I did the pop up trick just now.. good pop up. I used a valid credit card, but with a "future" expiration date. Finished today around 10:51AM, now it's 5:18.
