Part 1 (the original thread)--

Pearsonvue "Trick". Is this TRUE? Does it Work Every Time?

Poll to take once you have received your response--

Pearson Vue Trick - Poll once you receive your results

Here are the exact steps to see if you passed or failed the NCLEX exam on the pearson vue web site:

1) go to http://www.vue.com/NCLEX.

2) select the 'test taker services' tab at the top.

3) click 'register' on the right side.

4) click the 'credit card' link.

5) click the 'sign in' link in the second sentence.

6) enter your username.

7) enter your password.

? click the button.

9) click 'register' on the left side.

10) select your test type.

11) click the button.

12) select your country.

13) click the button.

14) answer the yes/no questions.

15) select your country again.

16) select your state.

17) type in your city.

18) click the button. a list of schools should appear.

19) select your school.

20) select the month and year of your graduation.

21) select your board of nursing.

22) click the button.

Very important: at this point, if you get a pop up that says 'the candidate currently has test results that are on hold. a new registration cannot be created at this time.', it has nothing to do with passing or failing; It just means that they are reviewing your records due to random reviews that they conduct, or because they needed to locate some data or papers, etc. This means you will possibly have to wait a few more days than your friends who did not get this message. If you get the message 'our records indicate that you have recently scheduled this exam. Please contact your member board for further assistance. another registration cannot be made at this time.', that means you passed. If you do not get either message and go straight to the credit card information page, that means you did not pass.

I took the NCLEX-RN in Cali on July 6th, my exam also stopped at 75 Q and I felt I did horribly. The exam was very difficult, I had 32 SATA. Wanted to cry the whole time I was taking it!!! I'm already an LVN and studied my butt off. I just know I failed. I did the PVT and got the good pop-up. I sure do hope this is right!!

If you "know you failed" then you're mistaken, because you passed. Congrats! :yeah:

I took the NCLEX today in Michigan and I got ALL 265 agonizing questions, I knew I failed becasue the morning started bad due to car issues almost making me late for my appointment and then of course I could think NOTHING but that damn POS car of mine! Anyways I came home and did the PVT and I have done it about 10 times since then and I am getting the "good" pop up:) I hope this means I passed!

I took mine too today at 0800 and had ALL 265 questions, walked out feeling like I was out in left field through the whole test and did the PVT and got the good pop up.........I am keeping the fingers crossed!

Its True, the computer knows if you passed rightaway and probably immediately sends it and its TRUE. I had the good pop up. Its pretty much official

YAY! I am still praying with my fingers crossed until saterday around 11am:) It is a huge sense of relief with the PVT though:)

I am borderline missmurphy.........I read through the entire thread about the PVT and everyone on there says it works........I want it in balck and white though:)

I took NCLEX yesterday with 5 other friends yesterday. 3 of us got 75 questions, 1 had 138, 1 had 223 and 1 had 265. We all got the good pop-up, and while we all can't wait to get the official results, we definitely breathed a sigh of relief. Anxiety lingers....but after all the positive reviews of the PVT, it's enough for me to be confident, just not enough quite yet for me to yell to my family and friends that I passed. I'll wait for the official results before announcing it.

yeah i took it today too and got all the questions, and is this good pop up the one when you try and re register and get the pop up that you can't? i hope it is because that is what i heard to do
