Part 1 (the original thread)--

Pearsonvue "Trick". Is this TRUE? Does it Work Every Time?

Poll to take once you have received your response--

Pearson Vue Trick - Poll once you receive your results

Here are the exact steps to see if you passed or failed the NCLEX exam on the pearson vue web site:

1) go to http://www.vue.com/NCLEX.

2) select the 'test taker services' tab at the top.

3) click 'register' on the right side.

4) click the 'credit card' link.

5) click the 'sign in' link in the second sentence.

6) enter your username.

7) enter your password.

? click the button.

9) click 'register' on the left side.

10) select your test type.

11) click the button.

12) select your country.

13) click the button.

14) answer the yes/no questions.

15) select your country again.

16) select your state.

17) type in your city.

18) click the button. a list of schools should appear.

19) select your school.

20) select the month and year of your graduation.

21) select your board of nursing.

22) click the button.

Very important: at this point, if you get a pop up that says 'the candidate currently has test results that are on hold. a new registration cannot be created at this time.', it has nothing to do with passing or failing; It just means that they are reviewing your records due to random reviews that they conduct, or because they needed to locate some data or papers, etc. This means you will possibly have to wait a few more days than your friends who did not get this message. If you get the message 'our records indicate that you have recently scheduled this exam. Please contact your member board for further assistance. another registration cannot be made at this time.', that means you passed. If you do not get either message and go straight to the credit card information page, that means you did not pass.

Your pearsonvue account must state that delivery is successful before you try the trick

Pvt worked, I am shock! Good luck to all, Dont worry it will work, I doubted the trick the most and I am a believer may 17 pn test date!

It took a couple of hours before the "Delivery Successful" status, but...

GOOD POPUP!!! Totally sweet! I'm so happy, and three of my good friends got the same result! AWESOME! Now we just need to see the actual word "PASS"!

This is the obligatory "The PVT worked!" post. It said I passed, and when I checked the Quick Results, it said pass! I received my letter from the state BON today. WOOHOO! And yes, the PVT worked for all of my friends, we all passed!

For those just now hearing about the PVT, I know it sounds kinda sketchy. But seriously, it will give you an immense amount of stress relief. One of my friends got all 265 questions and just knew she had failed. PVT gave her the good popup, and she passed. Just try it if the stress is too much to bear, as it probably is.

Wow ..congratulations..time to parteeyyyhhhhhh!

just got my results today! took the test 05/21.. after 6 weeks and four days of waiting!! the trick really does work!

congratulationssss! wooot wooot!

Oh my gosh, this first post sounds exactly like my test! I took the test yesterday, got 75 questions, THIRTEEN "SATA"s which I definitely thought was pretty scary but I guess I've seen some people had twice that amount with only 75 questions! I left feeling OK about the test, definitely took my time but as soon as I got home and started thinking about some things I was able to pinpoint at least 4 that I knew I got wrong so of course that worked me up into a tizzy! There were also a couple of areas I had about 4-5 questions over which made me nervous too. I also feel like I got the exact same question and had the exact same answer twice but I was 99.9% sure it was correct! That threw me for a loop too. I might be over-analyzing a bit... I am just so so nervous to get my results and ran across this Pearson Vue trick thread which sounds unlikely to me but I tried it anyway and I definitely did get the pop-up which makes me feel a smidgeon better! AGH I hope the myth is true so I can make it through the rest of today and hopefully get my results bright and early tomorrow!

Just took the NCLEX today @ 1PM and I had 205 questions and took the whole 5 hours. I tried the Pearson Vue trick and this is what happened.

And also one of my friends says that I have to wait 48 hours for it to be accurate, is that true? Thanks

Just took NCLEX. Got home and got the good pop up! Let's hope this works!

I just got the good pop up, but I'm still so nervous. I got around 115-120 questions when my computer shut off. I don't know anyone who got that amount and passed/or failed. I'm so worried. When I took my NCLEX-PN I got the minimum number of questions. I sure hope the trick is true! Did anyone else get 115-120 questions and still pass??

Does anyone know if this trick works for Texas Rn's??

Well I took my exam yesterday, got the full 265. I only felt confident on about 10 of the questions, so I was pretty sure I had failed. I got home, waited a few hrs and tried the pearson vue trick, and got the good pop up! I still didnt believe it though, so I woke up this morning and got on my state's BON, and it said "NCLEX RESULTS RECIEVED, WAITING ON COMPLETION OF INTERNSHIP". So im taking this as saying I passed. Any opinions?
