Part 1 (the original thread)--
Pearsonvue "Trick". Is this TRUE? Does it Work Every Time?
Poll to take once you have received your response--
Pearson Vue Trick - Poll once you receive your results
Here are the exact steps to see if you passed or failed the NCLEX exam on the pearson vue web site:
1) go to http://www.vue.com/NCLEX.
2) select the 'test taker services' tab at the top.
3) click 'register' on the right side.
4) click the 'credit card' link.
5) click the 'sign in' link in the second sentence.
6) enter your username.
7) enter your password.
? click the button.
9) click 'register' on the left side.
10) select your test type.
11) click the button.
12) select your country.
13) click the button.
14) answer the yes/no questions.
15) select your country again.
16) select your state.
17) type in your city.
18) click the button. a list of schools should appear.
19) select your school.
20) select the month and year of your graduation.
21) select your board of nursing.
22) click the button.
Very important: at this point, if you get a pop up that says 'the candidate currently has test results that are on hold. a new registration cannot be created at this time.', it has nothing to do with passing or failing; It just means that they are reviewing your records due to random reviews that they conduct, or because they needed to locate some data or papers, etc. This means you will possibly have to wait a few more days than your friends who did not get this message. If you get the message 'our records indicate that you have recently scheduled this exam. Please contact your member board for further assistance. another registration cannot be made at this time.', that means you passed. If you do not get either message and go straight to the credit card information page, that means you did not pass.

I took the RN test May 6 @ 8am. 144 Qs for 4 hours (this time I really took my time) with 3 breaks :) Nervous wreck again.. it was really hard.. lots of SATA. Got home check the PVT and got the good pop up!!!!! Today @ exactly 6:08 am, I found out.... I AM OFFICIALLY RN!!!!!! yeheyyyyyy!!!!!! PVT really works
Thank you LORD!!!!
just did the trick i was so nervous that i would be the only it didnt work for. so i put it in my head that i was only going to wait for the official results....Mannn that went out the window when the haze of taking the boards went away. I GOT MY GOOD POP UP!!!! thank u who figured this out and for saving me $10.00. Time for happy hour :)
I took the test May 9th...used the entire 6 hrs, got thru 255 Q then time was up and I had to stop. I did the PVT and got the good message; no confirmation yet though on the Licensure website--however, my GN Permit is still "active"...heard when you fail it becomes "Null and Void". Hoping I passed???
took NCLEX-RN this morning at 8a. it stopped at 173 or 174. took me almost 4 hours. the whole freaking time I thought I was doing terrible. I think I was 100% confident of the correct answer on about 4 or 5 questions. no joke. very difficult test! got home. did PVT about 5 hrs after finishing the exam. got good pop up!! I keep checking BON for my results!!
but honestly I feel like no amount of studying could have prepared me for that. it was ridiculously difficult.
Took My NCLEX-PN yesterday at 8:00 am. I walked away from that test feeling as though I learned NOTHING in school. I had so many med questions and had to guess on all of them!! The test stopped at about 89 questions and I knew I failed!! I came home so freaked out about how many questions I got, got on line to see if anyone else was in the same situation and I found ALL of YOU!! And learned about this PVT, so I tried it and I got the "good" pop up!! I pray It's right, although i still feel horrible about my NCLEX! I should find out tomorrow, mid morning and I will be sure to post my update!!!

hello everyone!! im new to this but ive been reading every forum and discussion on this topic and so far it seems as if this pvt ACTUALLY works!! took the nclex pn may 6 at 1:00pm too me exactly 1hr and 15 minutes to do the tutorial, the actual questions, and the survey at the end. when i answered the 85th question and the screen turned blue i couldve sworn my heart dropped to the ground! it was wat too fast! to make it so bad the lady at the desk was all "wow that was really fast" tried to keep my cool, signed out and left as fast as i can. as soon as i got n my car the flood came, i couldnt stop crying because i jus KNEW i failed. BUT when a friend told me about this trick i had to try it. got the good pop up window everyday since then...hopefully it stays that way. im jus hopin im not that one person who gets the good message but later on finds out she fails!
so far about 5 classmates gotten 85 as well as the good pop up window...one wnt all the way to 205 and havnt tried the trick
hopefully we all get good news. but nothings official til that letter in the mail says soo...
