Part 1 (the original thread)--
Pearsonvue "Trick". Is this TRUE? Does it Work Every Time?
Poll to take once you have received your response--
Pearson Vue Trick - Poll once you receive your results
Here are the exact steps to see if you passed or failed the NCLEX exam on the pearson vue web site:
1) go to http://www.vue.com/NCLEX.
2) select the 'test taker services' tab at the top.
3) click 'register' on the right side.
4) click the 'credit card' link.
5) click the 'sign in' link in the second sentence.
6) enter your username.
7) enter your password.
? click the button.
9) click 'register' on the left side.
10) select your test type.
11) click the button.
12) select your country.
13) click the button.
14) answer the yes/no questions.
15) select your country again.
16) select your state.
17) type in your city.
18) click the button. a list of schools should appear.
19) select your school.
20) select the month and year of your graduation.
21) select your board of nursing.
22) click the button.
Very important: at this point, if you get a pop up that says 'the candidate currently has test results that are on hold. a new registration cannot be created at this time.', it has nothing to do with passing or failing; It just means that they are reviewing your records due to random reviews that they conduct, or because they needed to locate some data or papers, etc. This means you will possibly have to wait a few more days than your friends who did not get this message. If you get the message 'our records indicate that you have recently scheduled this exam. Please contact your member board for further assistance. another registration cannot be made at this time.', that means you passed. If you do not get either message and go straight to the credit card information page, that means you did not pass.
Your pearsonvue account must state that delivery is successful before you try the trick

So sorry to get that news. I pray that you will get better news next time. Take a couple of days to pull yourself together, then get back to studying. You will need to revamp your study plan. Do some research and find what worked for others, then try to incorporate that into your own study plan. I hope things work out for you. Did you take a NCLEX prep class?

yes i did take a kaplan prep course through my school..i was never a good test taker..i am feeling a little better..studying medications because i feel like i bombed that part..thank you for the support..i just feel like an incompetent nurse
i took my nclex june 30th. i was positive that i failed. i received a lot of sata, at least 12, and a lot of meds that i’ve never heard of. on the 75th question i was praying to receive more questions, but sure enough, the computer screen went blank. i stared at the screen for a while in disbelief. to be honest, i was sure of only one question out of 75. for the rest of the 74 questions, i completely took an educated guess at all of them. to add to my anxiety, i took the test within 40 mins. i was signed in at 1:40 and the screen went blank at 2:30. after realizing the time, i was sure that i didn’t read the questions correctly. i went home and told my mom that i failed! later that night, i discovered this website and learned of the pvt. i tried it and got the “good pop up”, i told my friend about it and she received the “bad pop up”. on july 2, i found out that i passed and my friend failed. the pvt really works! thanks to everyone that have posted because i truly thought i was the only one feeling the way that i did. also, best wishes to the future nurses. never doubt your abilities!
