10) select your test type.
11) click the button.
12) select your country.
13) click the button.
14) answer the yes/no questions.
15) select your country again.
16) select your state.
17) type in your city.
18) click the button. a list of schools should appear.
19) select your school.
20) select the month and year of your graduation.
21) select your board of nursing.
22) click the button.
Very important: at this point, if you get a pop up that says 'the candidate currently has test results that are on hold. a new registration cannot be created at this time.', it has nothing to do with passing or failing; It just means that they are reviewing your records due to random reviews that they conduct, or because they needed to locate some data or papers, etc. This means you will possibly have to wait a few more days than your friends who did not get this message. If you get the message 'our records indicate that you have recently scheduled this exam. Please contact your member board for further assistance. another registration cannot be made at this time.', that means you passed. If you do not get either message and go straight to the credit card information page, that means you did not pass.
Your pearsonvue account must state that delivery is successful before you try the trick
Hi everyone,I took my NClEX-RN exam on Thursday, Sept. 30 and ended at 83 questions. I tried the PVT and got "the good pop up" but have been checking the California BRN website and still have not seen my name listed. It says that the site was last updated Oct. 3rd (which is a Sunday) so I'm really confused! I already have a great job lined up and am feeling the pressure. Hmmmm, I really hope the PVT works!!!!! **Crossing fingers***
CHECK THE BRN WEBSITE!!! I just saw my name!! I passed :)
YAY
Hello, I took the NCLEX-RN on September 30th also, I tried to pearsonvue trick and I was expecting it to take me to the credit card information...I thought I had failed because the questions seemed too easy (I'm not trying to brag), but I didn't get a lot of SATA which a lot of my classmates who had passed did, but anyway, I expected it to let me pay and it gave me the good pop up..I was so convinced I failed I didn't want to believe it and get my hopes up, but I found out at 7AM the next morning I passed!! :)
I just took the exam. I got home and tried the trick. Here is the message that I got, "The candidate currently has an open registration for this exam. A new registration cannot be created at this time." Does this mean that I passed????? I'm so nervous!!! Thanks!!!
Wait until it says delivery successful, then try. The pop up that you got doesn't mean that you passed or failed.
Took my nclex-pn today, started at 8:00 and ended at 9:30. Computer shut off at 85. I got so many sata questions, so many priority questions, little to no pharm and no freaking math. I was so convinced that i was going to crap my pants that i bought an extra pair of undies and left them in my car. Lol. I got home and after feeling like crap tried the pvt and it gave me the good ole pop up to contact my member boards. It would not let me re-register. Due to the history of the accuracy of the pvt i am totally convinced that i passed. I will still update everyone when i do quick results. I am so excited. Woo hoo.miss tiffany lvn now.

If you have not got a SSN then you have to wait for snail mail and I doubt there is much difference in the time it takes for you to get your results, however getting CC is a good indication, going by others that have posted, that you have failed. However i would say wait for official results

i am one of those hopefuls that pearson vue trick works!
this is my 2nd time NCLEX RN, the first time i took it (last march 2010), i tried the trick, i was really expecting for it to be that harsh, but it took me to the credit card page.. now my 2nd time, i went inside the exam room and went out not feeling nervous, and i think its a bad thing.
so after i got home from the exam, 3 hours to be exact, i did the PVT and i got the so called 'good popup'. then 4 hrs, 5 hrs, 6 hrs.. still the same! im even scared to go to sleep coz it might change!
it worked for me the first NCLEX, it let me re-register again.. went all the way to the CC page.. that was the THIRD day after my exam tho.. after 15 days, got my letter, it said I FAILED. i was really hurt. but i really wasnt surprise.
does it work even if you took your exam 2pm-6:30pm? i mean that's beyond office hours??? right? and who decides if you pass or fail? the computer? or the BON? now im confused! the PVT helped lessen my anxiety tho... but imagine how it would hurt thinking i passed then after 3 days / 5 days.. i failed????! THAT WOULD HURT BIG TIME! or maybe i should just think i failed? but I have faith in GOD. i know He will give what my heart desires.
