Part 1 (the original thread)--

Pearsonvue "Trick". Is this TRUE? Does it Work Every Time?

Poll to take once you have received your response--

Pearson Vue Trick - Poll once you receive your results

Here are the exact steps to see if you passed or failed the NCLEX exam on the pearson vue web site:

1) go to http://www.vue.com/NCLEX.

2) select the 'test taker services' tab at the top.

3) click 'register' on the right side.

4) click the 'credit card' link.

5) click the 'sign in' link in the second sentence.

6) enter your username.

7) enter your password.

? click the button.

9) click 'register' on the left side.

10) select your test type.

11) click the button.

12) select your country.

13) click the button.

14) answer the yes/no questions.

15) select your country again.

16) select your state.

17) type in your city.

18) click the button. a list of schools should appear.

19) select your school.

20) select the month and year of your graduation.

21) select your board of nursing.

22) click the button.

Very important: at this point, if you get a pop up that says 'the candidate currently has test results that are on hold. a new registration cannot be created at this time.', it has nothing to do with passing or failing; It just means that they are reviewing your records due to random reviews that they conduct, or because they needed to locate some data or papers, etc. This means you will possibly have to wait a few more days than your friends who did not get this message. If you get the message 'our records indicate that you have recently scheduled this exam. Please contact your member board for further assistance. another registration cannot be made at this time.', that means you passed. If you do not get either message and go straight to the credit card information page, that means you did not pass.

Your pearsonvue account must state that delivery is successful before you try the trick

OK..my friend just checked online and her license has been issued...she had tried the trick and gotten the good box. I am hoping to my license issued soon too! All fingers crossed!

I just took the NCLEX-PN and it stopped at 85 questions.

2 hours later i did the pearson vue trick and it gave me the "good" message! I hope it really works!

Has anyone ever gotten the "good" message and failed????

Naturally, I'm still really worried that I didn't pass! :uhoh3:

Just got UNOFFICIAL results!! I passed!!! :) Exactly 48 hrs TOO!!

Sooo I took my NCLEX this morning and left with this horrible feeling, like I just spent all this time and money on nursing school and did not learn a thing. I seriously wondered why I spent all this time learning about disease processes and signs and symptoms of certain conditions only to be tested on how well I prioritize things.

As soon as I returned home I tried the PVT and was stuck with the "Ready For Delivery". I finally received my delivery successful status after 3 hours of refreshing my web browser every 5 minutes and received the "good pop up". Just praying to God that this works.. I'm supposed to be starting my job on October 4th!

Hi everyone,

I took the NCLEX-RN this morning at 8am. Got out of there around 1030 after 265 questions. I almost cried when I saw 76 come up. I almost gave up hope when I saw 150! After that, I felt the test dragged on.. Throughout the rest of the exam, I felt that I was getting every other question wrong. I came out of the test center thinking that I was 99% sure that I failed. I called everyone crying that I worked so hard the past 4 years just to fail this exam..

I got home around noon and did the PVT trick and got the good pop up. Let's hope it will work for me!

Congrats to all of those who just passed and good luck to the rest who are about to take it!

If it makes you feel better, some people get the full spread not because of how they're doing but just because of some random experimental bs.

By the way I think 2.5 hours to answer 265 questions is great timing!

Hi Everyone,

I took my test for the second time today. Last time it took me to te credit card page (and I had failed). Today I got the good pop up. Believe the trick does work....

Yes, sitting for 265 was a BEAST. I just took a deep breath and tried hard to re-collect myself. I didn't want to take a break. I just wanted to get out of there! Advice to those who are about to take the test.. Don't get discouraged if you don't stop at 75 or even go all the way to 265! You've survived years of nursing school. Just take a big, deep breath and keep on going with the fight! You can do it!

Getting the good pop up was a much needed stress reliever. I felt so sure that I failed coming out of the test. Let's see what happens! I hope to return the next day or two to tell you all that I passed

took it first time, failed....took it yesterday again...did the PVT trick and got the bad pop up...im soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo sad....what arent i doing right? im such a failure!!! :crying2::crying2::crying2::crying2::crying2::crying2::crying2::crying2::crying2::crying2::crying2::crying2::crying2::crying2::crying2::crying2::crying2::crying2::crying2:

i took my nclex rn yesterday morning & i'm dying of anxiety.. after the 75th question i felt like i lost focus. having taken the nclex pn a couple of years ago (went from lpn to rn) i got the minimum number of questions & i passed. this test stopped around 120-125. :sniff: i did the 'trick' & i got the good pop up. although i'm skeptical, it gave me some reassurance. i'll let you guys know tomorrow morning. wish me luck! i'll keep you posted. :uhoh3:

I walked out of that test feeling abused. Wondering how my competency to be a good nurse could be decided in this way. I had 3 questions on Hep-G for crying out loud! Ten med's that I have never heard of... not even a recognizable stem eg, pril, pam, statin, etc.. notta. many SATA, prioritizing and the what statement would I follow up on questions were real eye squinter s followed by a mental WHAT?? So, I've got the good pop up and a nervous laugh. My family now thinks I've gone insane. I need the confirmation! lol. Good luck to all that's currently waiting.

Took NCLEXRN last Thursday, and 4 hours after the test got good pop-up, then 52 hours after test, (yes, 52, as the 48 is not a certainty on the weekend, I found out) paid the $7.95 for the PV quick results, "PASS", because my BON office staff person was on vacation, and nothing was getting posted online until she got back, the following Wednesday, which was today, and HALLELUJAH! I got to see my new license number, and I cried! I think I was still expecting to have someone say "HA! Just kidding!"

GOOD LUCK and Hang in there while you wait!!
