Okay. So I arrived at Pearson Vue @ 7:45am to take my NCLEX-RN. I started the exam around 8:15am. I finished with 75 questions @ 9:32am. The questions were tooooooo easy. I'm concerned because I know that the computer issues questions based on the answers to the previous answers. I felt like I did really well on the questions, but they all seemed to be the type of questions that are below the passing standard. I watched the videos posted by Kaplan so I just kept picturing the passing line and Bloom's Taxonomy. My exam was just tooo easy. My classmates have taken it and most have passed. They all said that it was haaaaaaaaaaard. It took them a long time to do the minimum or nearly the entire time to do the max or close to it. It's a hard exam. I don't understand what happened to mine. I tried the Pearson trick about 500 times and I get the good pop up, but I'm still afraid. It was just an odd experience. I was praying that the computer shut off at 75 questions...and it did. I just thought that I'd have some REALLY difficult questions. So, the Pearson trick worked and everyone said that it was a good sign, but I don't know. I am FREAKING out!! Can anyone tell me what their experience was? I mean when people say that the NCLEX was easy, I heard they were liars, but my test was toooo easy. Just like I tested with all of the non-passing questions.

This might be best posted in the student section, but ill say when i can to help you.
I took it last year. I started at 7:45 and got done around 9:20. The computer shut off at 75 questions. When i got done i walked out of there thinking "I have NO clue" i felt good about it, like i knew the answers or was able to take an educated guess but there is always that doubt about yourself. So I did the pearson vue trick, and according to the pearson vue trick i passed!!! I tried not to get too worked up until i had the official "Pass" on my test results. The next day i payed the $7 to see the "Pass" as i didn't trust the pearson vue trick.
So needless to say, the pearson vue trick was correct for me. I have not yet met anyone that the pearson vue trick was wrong for.
My friend that failed her first two times the pearson vue trick was correct in saying she failed, and on try number 3 the pearson vue trick said she passed (and she really did).
and by the way, i took Kaplan as well. Apparently i got "passing level questions" and did good on those because i passed. So i thought that NCLEX passing level questions was easier than Kaplan passing level questions, as well as ATI. I felt it was pretty equivalent to Lippincott or Saunders.

I took (and passed) the Nclex RN last week. I passed in 75 questions, and left there in less than an hour, convinced I failed because it seemed very easy. You aren't alone.

Woooo-hoooooooo!!!! PearsonVue trick, I hope you're right! I'll keep my fingers crossed for you, AKA Glamour Pearl and you can keep yours crossed for me. BTW, I think no two tests are alike. I found mine really hard (and I'm generally a good test-taker) and others I spoke with found it easy. Relax. I think the PearsonVue trick is pretty reliable by all accounts.

Totally understand....BUT YOU SHOULD CALM DOWN!! I agree with Jenni. I have never seen the pearson trick be incorrect. I took the test last year in Feb. & honestly I took the test so quick & finished so quickly that I was scared too just like you. I went home did the pearson trick & it said that I passed. I think it is very normal to be unsure of yourself but afterwards but don't go over board stressing. Maybe you just didn't realize how bright you are ....Im sure you passed be confident!!

The pearsonvue trick is proven to be true. I took my test Saturday and it started at 8 am and I was finish at 845. I thought that was too quick because the people that came in behind me were still in there and as I glanced at their screen they were still in the teens or some of them were like on 30 something and then when the test monitor said that I came out too quick it really made me worry, but when I checked the site I got the good popup and surely Monday morning when I paid the 7.95 I passed NCLEX with 75 questions. The questions I had were hard, but the ones that seemed easy were from Saunders and Lippnicott. The difficult questions mimicked ATI in many ways. I think I had a high level test because 60 of my questions were SATA.
Thank you! I just really expected to have the same scenario as most of my classmates. I brought a lunch and ibuprofen to the testing center, told my boyfriend not to expect me back until around 2pm.... I guess I was just thrown for a loop because I anticipated questions about rare illnesses and brand new medications that I wouldn't even know about. The questions seemed to mirror Kaplan very well! I actually had to slow down and remind myself that this wasn't a question trainer, but the REAL deal. Thanks everyone. I feel a little better. This was just a weird experience. I'm glad it's over!
60 SATA's!! Woah! I don't know what I would have done with myself if I'd had 60! I heard a nurse say that she only had 75 questions and over 20 were math. She just stopped counting them. I guess these exams are truly random!
Ok! Let me know how it turns out for you too! Fingers and toes are crossed for both of us!

Every single class mate that has taken the NCLEX in the last month along with myself has done the trick & have all passed with 75 q's. Believe it, you passed! The exam was completely different for all of us. I have NO idea how they put it together. I guessed on most of the answers and passed!
Congrats!!!
