Hi Everyone!
Looks like CCC point distribution emails went out today! I believe that the invites (or rejections) will be going out next Friday. This is my second time applying to CCC I hope to get an interview this time around! Good luck to everyone?

Are you ok with sharing your total points?

I got the Clackamas CC point email, I have 41 points. Overall GPA 3.71 (25pts), all A & P completed (5pts), all prerequisites completed (5pts), prior degree (1pt) and discretionary (5pts). This is my first time applying to Clackamas CC. I know my GPA is not good enough but is 41 points competitive enough to get into the program not including the interview?
Also, if anyone has information about OHSU and MHCC interview, please let me know. Like what to expect or how to prepare.

Hi Lex18.
My total points are 47/54. GPA 25, all A&P finished 5, all pre reqs finished 5, and I have 12 discretionary points.

I believe that 41 is competitive, you have the max amount of points possible for gpa, finished all pre reqs, and the A&P sequence. Plus 6 discretionary points. You have to remember that some of the discretionary points available are not going to count for a lot of applicants applying (veteran, graduating from a health high school). That’s what I keep telling myself.

Hi everyone! I am invited for pcc and mhcc interviews. I was invited to asbn ohsu, but I missed the rsvp. I have 46 points from ccc and hoping to get invited for an interview! It’s good to have this forum to share ideas with you guys since I’m anxious and excited.

My points are 41 too! I'm feeling pretty good since it is the max for non veteran/health school people who havent taken classes at CCC. I'm feeling pretty good, but excited for everyone who got more points!!! Good luck everyone!!

Do you mind sharing what score you had for PCC? I didn't get in, but I wanted to know how many pts I needed to get invited this year.

I have 61. I took all my prerequisite classes at pcc and I’ve been a CNA for almost a year. I also have experience as a interpreter at a hospital in Korea! I’m sorry that you didn’t get in pcc, but I hope you get in other schools! Nursing is sooo competitive, but I know we will make it!

Thanks for the reply! Oof, I'm 59. That's so rough... Thanks, I'm definitely trying next yr, and I'm getting more CNA hours still. Best of luck with your interviews!

Thank you so much! I’m so nervous and anxious about interviews.. but I’m so grateful that I made it this far. Since English is my second language, it was hard taking classes especially anatomy classes. I know sooner or later we will be great nurses if we don’t give up. Best of luck with you becoming a wonderful nurse!
