Yes. But I’m still waiting to hear from Pcc. Does anybody know when pcc starts sending emails?

I received an email from PCC and am in! So very excited!!

Me too! Also hoping to move off the waitlist at CCC, but I'm excited either way!!!

Where do you prefer to go? Sounds like you and I are in the same predicament ? - It takes me about an hour to drive to CCC and 30 min or less to go to PCC.

Ha, I'm the opposite. I'm about 20 from CCC, and about 40 from sylvania with lots of driving

It sounds very likely that you will get into CCC, have been told most of waitlist usually get in, hopefully sooner than later! Congratulations for getting into PCC!

I was put as an alternate for PCC :( does anyone know how the alternate pool works? I didn’t see an alternate number so have no idea where I stand on it.

I'm in the alternate for PCC as well, was wondering also how this all works. Anyone with info or advise that has been in this position?

I believe how the alternate pool works for PCC is that you are on the waitlist based on points, that they will call the top alternates once people withdraw, I also believe as an alternate they want you to go to the orientation. Does it say to go to the orientation on your letter? In the past PCC was know for going through most of the waitlist, hopefully this is still true.

Hi Nurse hopeful7!

Yes, it does say to go to the orientation if you accept the alternate spot. This is my first year applying for nursing so I had no idea how this all works. I am optimistic and hopeful and will plan to attend the orientation. Thanks for replying! and CONGRATS on getting in!!!
