Hi everyone!! I probably am jumping the gun by posting this already but I'm too excited and just can't believe I'm finishing up my last semester of pre reqs for the program. I take my HESI on Feb 16th. Anyway I just wanted to introduce myself and see if anyone has also taken the hesi and what would be the best study guide to get. Here's to hoping for a great fall!!!
sooo at pharm today and talking to another girl who is applying this go around she knows someone who got a denial letter already yesterday.... but the denial letter stated that it was because of chemistry... Soooo I guess some denials have already started going out maybe?! This whole application thing just bites the big one!
Well, in my personal case, last term I got a email saying "incomplete" instead "denial" then days later came the acceptance ones. Sooooo, what you say about denials letters could already started going out! Wwoowww it would be more than perfect! Thanks for share!
Wow, that's interesting. I don't understand their process this semester. They've made it way more complicated than it should be. I'm guessing her email didn't say anything about a cut-off since it had nothing to do with her points?
Well, what I know for sure the denials letters always show the cut off.!
I'm 24 yrs. As for the uniform and name pin you get that as someone said from copy's uniforms across from lake worth campus. Ive already seen her. Two name pins are $9 each like $26 per top and per pant... We purchase a kit through the school I'm pretty sure has tape scissors etc but you may need to purchase a pen light and for sure a stethoscope. I have a littman and it's great but not cheap like $100 and up some are lower like the light weights they last a long time though. I am intending on getting mine engraved a few friends say I should they tend to walk away. always look online for those though bc you can at least save $10.. I got my AHA BLS healthcare provider CPR half online. ($22) and other half at jupiter hospital. They list all the locations on the AHA website to go complete skills and receive your card. But it was another $20 or so for the skills part.

Anyone have any idea where to do the CPR class for free? I remember seeing that as one of the things that must be done before you start.
Sorry, know I'm jumping the gun.. don't even know if we are accepted yet lol
