PBSC Fall 2012 hopefuls

Hi everyone!! I probably am jumping the gun by posting this already but I'm too excited and just can't believe I'm finishing up my last semester of pre reqs for the program. I take my HESI on Feb 16th. Anyway I just wanted to introduce myself and see if anyone has also taken the hesi and what would be the best study guide to get. Here's to hoping for a great fall!!! :D

You get the acceptance email, then we got the welcome packet the next day. Don't worry about not having enough time, I don't know anyone that ran out of time to do it, you just have to et our name pin ordered early, uniforms you can buy whenever, drug test was easy, make an appointment for that and fingerprinting. Be prepared to spend a lot of money though. Background check, drug test, finger printing, uniforms, name pin, books, it all adds up.

That is crazy! Why would they send a denial when they are accepting chemistry appeals. We all got the same letter yesterday right? Ughh this weekend couldn't go any faster!

I asked if it had said anything about points she said no.. Im thinking they may have sent out denials of like people that applied with different classes from different colleges that they didnt accept maybe... maybe they sent denials for people that there was no way they were going to get in... no clue...

As far as getting stuff done I got lucky with all of that, since I just got hired on at the hospital they paid and did all my screenings and physical so just have to get a copy of that and do a drug test and i guess another background check.. I should ask if they would take copies of that too since it was done just last month.. Where do you get your name pins and uniforms from anyone know?

I used to be in the dental hygiene program but got out because I wanted to do nursing.. But we had to buy the pin, uniform, from them. They had some shoes too. The pin was $9, they wanted us to get 2 sets of scrubs. The tops are like $20 something and I think the bottom was like $24 each or something like that. Im not buying until Im sure.

Did I forget that u buy them from copys uniforms lol. My phone is weird. Theres a copys uniform across from the lake worth campus in the Wendys plaza
