Hi everyone!! I probably am jumping the gun by posting this already but I'm too excited and just can't believe I'm finishing up my last semester of pre reqs for the program. I take my HESI on Feb 16th. Anyway I just wanted to introduce myself and see if anyone has also taken the hesi and what would be the best study guide to get. Here's to hoping for a great fall!!!

If Leila told her 23 was too low and last time it was 24 something then it'll probably be a little higher? But that doesn't make sense to me because a lot of people didn't pass the HESI. :/ the waiting game sucks

Hey guys! I have been following your stresses and am getting nervous because I am applying for the oct 1st deadline. I wish you all the best of luck!!

I just wanted to ask those of you that spoke with latisha or Leila, did they say they aren't accepting substitutions for chm1032 next deadline? I filed my appeal last August and it was approved and they already applied it to my transcripts and everything. I'm getting nervous now because if they take that appeal away then I have to wait until oct 2013 to apply.

Anyways, I hope you all find out soon! I'm getting anxious for you all!

I think that is the case. If I were you I would try to jump in a summer B chem right now! That really sucks. I don't understand why they are doing it. Thanks for the wish of good luck I'm sure all of us feel like we need it right now.

Better yet, I would call them and ask what they want you to do.

Thanks mjmommy! I checked but summer b drop/add was over the 25th. I sent latisha an email because she specifically told me not to take chm1020 because it wouldn't do me any good due to chm2045 being substituted to satisfy the requirement.

If you filed an appeal that already shows on your transcript I don't believe they'll take that away, but then again who knows. I would definitely hold on to all of that documentation (the appeal, the email from Latisha, etc) and contact Latisha and soon as possible and tell her due to what you were told you did not proceed with trying to take another chem course and now it's too late to do anything about it. I wish you nothing but luck on this process, the chemistry issue is really unfair to applicants. Thanks for the well wishes though!

Today would have been the day but we all know it's not. I hope we all have a good weekend because when everyone gets accepted (hopefully all of us) we are going to have soooo much to do! Registration for me opens up at 12am Thursday and im hoping I can jump on there and register. Has anyone looked at the schedule and "picked" the classes that they would want to snag and which days?? I have been looking at it this morning in detail because if I do get in I have to take the CHM lab and a spanish class on top of nursing, but I will have Pharmacology done so I think I will be fine. Im thinking about doing early clinicals and then taking CHM lab late monday night so I have a break inbetween. Im just worried that the points jumped a lot...especially with how long it took them to post points...I can only imagine how many people applied. :uhoh21:
