Chm1020 is fine, they just changed the course number to chm1032. The problem is the students who had chm1045/1046 and were told it was ok to substitute that for 1032.

The information session yesterday was packed! It sounded like a lot of applicants were upset by the recent Chemistry requirement change and according to Ms. Boles, there's nothing they can do but apply next year after taking 1032. For anyone who is interested the cutoff for the June 1st deadline was 25.93 points with the average being around 27.6..Latisha says shoot for the average. I'm starting to get nervous!

Melissa, I'm sorry things didn't work out for the Fall. I haven't taken the HESI yet, so depending on that, I will have either 26.63 or 28.63 points. I emailed Latisha yesterday and she said the cutoff for the evening/weekend program last fall was 27.8 points and I was shocked!! Were they still accepting NLN then or had it switched to HESI?

Congrats on your daughter!! The point system at PBSC is based off more than GPA. Is there anyway to retake the HESI and try for more points? Or maybe take Critical Thinking or volunteer. I have a similar situation with a 2.63 GPA but depending on my HESI score, I could potentially have 27.63 points. It might take a little time to get your points up there, but don't give up. If you are local, go see Ms. Myrick. She is amazing and will guide you along.

Hey everyone! I figured since the June 1st applicants are finding out their fate, we should revive this thread and get it ready for our application cycle. How's everyone doing? I am studying for the HESI and getting everything in order.
