GOOD LUCK!!!!!! I hope you get in.I have been trying to sign up for the "NUR1024" but I never see it online to sign up for. I don't have any previous healthcare experience, nor any voluntary hours. I called several hospitals in my area, but was unsuccessful in getting an opportunity to volunteer. Do you have any suggestions on what I can do from now before the October deadline. I really want to get started this January. How many points did you have and what were your scores? Thanks again :D

Hi everyone, this is a thread for the January 2013 PBSC students. I know October is right around the corner, so I am a little frazzled right now. I am preparing for the HESI and have purchased the HESI study guide. Haven't made it to the mandatory information session as yet though. Also I was wondering if the Pro-Calc is a required test for new students as well. I didn't see anything online on testing dates etc for that. Is it similar to the HESI?
  5. I just checked on the website again, and its only offered on the Lake worth campus, for some reason I read that they accepted 24 students, and thought it was part time. It may have been an old post I saw somewhere Well I am hoping to volunteer somewhere so I can get the extra point...fingers crossed :D
  6. Thank you for responding :) I want to do the part time program, preferably Lake worth but it seems as if Belle glades accept students with lower points, so I was wondering if I would need to apply to both campus separately, but for the part time program only.
  7. Hi guys, congrats on your acceptance!!! I just wanted to know if you have to apply to Belle Glades and Lake worth part time programs separately?
  8. Good luck all!!! I wont be able to make the May 15th deadline I will try for next semester though. I am also looking into PBSC part time RN program, so I am going to make it work somehow, and get in RN school....not giving up...good luck once again guys
  9. I took Microbiology years ago on central campus-I loved it! I found it easier than Biology A&P and Chem....lots of hands on and experiments to do, and it was easier to memorize :)
  10. I am sure you will pull thru with an "A" you can do it-just keep studying- you are almost there :D:D
  11. That's fantastic...Sounds like you will definitely secure a spot :)Do you know how many points you have? Thanks for the tips, I am still studying, I believe I will only have 6pts so I am really trying to do good on this HESI, Congrats once again!
  12. So for anyone that haven't taken the HESI as yet, and looking to do it at BC central campus, you will have to register and pay in advance. I won't be able to take mines this Tuesday as I planned, but will be doing it on May 8th instead. There are no more openings until that week, the other times are all booked. On a positive note I will have more time to study :D
  13. That's great! I am so excited wasn't looking forward to memorizing all those chemistry andphysics formulas...lol.... thank you so much for that link, it's a lifesaver...I am sure you will Di great tomorrow- Ace that test girl :) :) :)
  14. Anyone have any tips on how to prepare for the physics section of the HESI, or any of the sections. I was wondering if we will be given these physics formula or will we need to memorise these....are there any websites that offer free practice test ?
  15. Good luck on Saturday StephanieMC12!!!!! Let me know how it goes, I am doing mines on Tuesday...so excited :D
