PBSC Fall 2012 hopefuls

Hi everyone!! I probably am jumping the gun by posting this already but I'm too excited and just can't believe I'm finishing up my last semester of pre reqs for the program. I take my HESI on Feb 16th. Anyway I just wanted to introduce myself and see if anyone has also taken the hesi and what would be the best study guide to get. Here's to hoping for a great fall!!! :D

It is sad to think that we won't see our points posted until Monday at the earliest... darn 3-day weekend for PBSC during the summer! haha. I understand they need a break too though.

I was told by latisha that there were a lot of apps but that may be because this is the second semester they are offering the bachelor nursing program. There has always been one lady processing the apps (Leila mehlind) so maybe she is still the only one with twice as many.... Last semester took forever.. As for the points showing up not to freak you all out mine took three weeks to post so dont panic but I would recommend staying on top of emailing and phoning them with your info just to document you were on top of it, doing your part bc at the end of the day these ppl go home we have to live with a possible mistake ya know. Also in the past I was sent a conformation email stating my app was received and what points were or were not rewarded in addition to my points showing up on panther web. This time I did not receive the email bit when I spoke to latisha she assured me it was fine. Did anyone else recieve the email though?

Just bought Dansko all white leather shoes for the program. I'm praying I get in bc those baby's were expensive but they are supposed to be the best!! My feet and back deserve it ;)

I emailed latisha today & she said she didn't know how many apps there was. she said we should be able to see our points the week of the 11th. so next week sometime.. i think there may be less apps because i know alot of people who did not score 75 on hesi. I hope I get in I've wanted this for so long!! all of you guys too :)

I think (and hope) there are less applications too. Most of all I hope the cut off is lower like last app pool too

Did anyone get a confirmation email? Im reading last application pool's thread and they were saying how they got a confirmation email saying their app was recieved and bring processed....freaking out nowww....!

Me either...but I'm sure its because they are so behind. You could always email her to confirm...but I'm sure its there and its just taking time to post everything. My points are up and complete so I know they got mine. Hope it happens soon for you guys. Its already the 9th...I think it is impossible for denials to go out on the 14th because everyone's applications haven't even processed so I think we may be looking at denials going out on 21/ acceptance on 25. If not its going to really take too long for my liking :(
