Hi everyone!! I probably am jumping the gun by posting this already but I'm too excited and just can't believe I'm finishing up my last semester of pre reqs for the program. I take my HESI on Feb 16th. Anyway I just wanted to introduce myself and see if anyone has also taken the hesi and what would be the best study guide to get. Here's to hoping for a great fall!!! :D

Worst wait ever.... Hope they're on time so we can get the ball rolling... Ordered my fundamentals book just waiting on it to arrive. Hope it helps kill the time....

Hey Felicia, would you tell me the isbn # for that book ? Please, sounds like a good idea to get it in adcance

Is it the Wilkinson and treas Fundamentals of nursing 2nd edition that everyone is getting?

Hi everyone!! This is my 1st time applying, I know my points will be low because I only received 6 points for my HESI that I took back in Jan, but how long before you can see your points? :)

Search nursing syllabus on the pbsc website it will list all the courses required in each semester throughout the program they are highlighted blue when you click on it the class syllabus will come up. It is listed there. I bought the package that includes the book and skills video through amazon and saved some $$$

This is for Monablue,

I'm not going to lie to you, this was the hardest I have ever worked in classes and got B's. It's not impossible with a family, I wouldn't know because I'm 23, single, no kids, living at home, but friends of mine in the program have little ones. However, be prepared to study. I didn't see any non-nursing school friends for the entire semester except maybe twice. I studied at work, at home, at school, listened to lectures while driving. Ate, slept, and breathed nursing school. Clinicals is terrifying, lecture is overwhelming, but it is do-able. I finished the semester, did okay on finals. My advice to you is read before class, read after class, record the lectures! But, it is doable, so also don't freak out and don't let it totally overwhelm you before you start. You can do this.

So does anyone know if there was any truth to there only being 70 applications?? This wait is soooo stressful!! lol

^^^ we should ask Latisha, that sounds so wrong

I know that does not seem possible at all but im hoping lol. My points are still not posted and I turned in my application on May 24th I think. Wish they would hurry up!

My points are still not posted neither UUUuggh! I need to be so sure the points that I have on mind are the same for them. I think Im relax, but I check every hour or less to get news so...Im not relax at all lol Also, Im trying to think a back plan...but my options are not good enough. Im positive and trying to call for good energies Anyone have a "plan B"?
