im so bored at work, but thank god atleast i have a job...many dont right now. i just cant wait to be accepted in the program and sit my boards. work my dream job (Dialysis Nurse)

i work as legal assistant right now i have law suits cases of nurses that need to be filed on my desk (but here i am surfing the net lol). its so sad i sue nurses all day and thats the profession i want to become (i dont like doing it , but thats what pays the bill). in case your wondering i work for a travel staffing agency for Nurses and Aliied Health Profession.

there hiring right now by the way for recruiters salary is $35 to $40K plus commissions. if you have a sales background your in.

I am sure you will get in, I also heard they never fill up their seats for the nursing program. Lake Worth is extremely hard to get into! You need at least a 3.25 GPA and a 6 on the NLN, that's what it was for fall 08 anyway.

I live in Wellington so the drive to Belle Glade shouldn't be that bad because it's a straight shot.

I believe Lake Worth is getting more dangerous with crime. I remember a story on the news where they found a dead body at lake worth and jog. Also there have been multiple shootings.

Hello everyone,

That really sucks about the wait I got my email today to. I went to Bellglade for micro over the summer, it wasn't to bad and my class was from 2-730 for lab and lec. I met some people in my class they were nice. I just wouldn't stop along the way. Its pretty much a straight run west on Southern and then u turn left at the end and the college is not that far from there. I live in loxahatchee and its about 35 miles from me. I also car pooled with someone so gas wasn't so bad I just met them at the publix in royal palm on southern. Maybe some of u can car pool. I am applying with 21.5 points because I didn't have time to study for the nln. I always heard that they didn't fill the spots and there were about two spots that they offered to lake worth applicants. It does sound like there are alot of applicant's this time though. I hope we all get in. Hey Mistical0217 hope everything is going well. Is anyone going to still work while being in the program. I going to try to work at least 15hrs a week. I d medical billing in Gardens for a doctor. But its easy. Good luck to everyone

Everything is going well!!! I got a 100 on micro lab midterm(dont mean to brag or anything) it was an easy A.... Im very happy about it. ) I am not working now and I am going to try to keep it that way so I can concentrate on school. If I have to I would do part-time, I cant see myself working full time and school and kids, I know myself, I dont think I could do it.. My hat is off to you thunter

I'm happy for you I like those kind of test. I'm going to try to work 15hrs because of financial reasons and all the kids. I am so exhausted I had to come home a take a 3 hr nap today, hopefully that will give me some energy. I miss the baby stage all my kids are 10 and up. that was my favorite stage.
