PBCC-palm beach comm. college

Hi everyone,

I'm in the process of study for the nurse Procalc and the NLN entrance exam for PBCC fall nursing program.

I read on line that this school works on a point system

I was wondering if anyone who has been accepted to the program

(past/Present) student: HOW MANY POINTS DID YOU HAVE TO

WHEN ACCEPTED TO THE PROGRAM.

Anyone with info about the program, would be helpful.

I have spoken to quite alot of people about the belle glade campus, and I have been told they never fill there spots. Usually in the spring there are less applicants.. Dont worry if it makes you feel any better you have more points then me!!!

mystical, did you apply to lake worth also. i live in boynton beach, i was a little skeptical about applying there because of the drive. a friend told me the have a charter bus that picks up kids from a specific location. have you heard of that?

At first I applied to lake worth but, I changed it because I knew I wasn't getting in there. The amount of points you will need is probably very high, way more then I have. I have never heard of a charter bus.

i wish this website had a chatroom , it would be so much better. what do you mean by lake worth has a lot of points? isnt it the same number of points at belle glade?

As far as I know lake worth and belle glade go by the same point system. It is very competitive there because of so many applicants having high points, I think for fall the lowest points that were taken was 25 (I think), so all the people that didnt get in are reapplying and maybe they took the nln again or maybe they didnt have there sciences in like me, so now they have higher points and including all the new applicants that may have alot of points, its harder to get into lake worth from my understanding.

your right about the belle glade spots not filling up as quickly as lake worth. i was told that if your a belle glade resident they will pay for your nursing school for you..yea its true...they were just doing anything to attract students to apply.

nope, never been there. My brother in law owns the cafeteria on that campus and he tells me a lot. but personally i just hear about it on the news all the time..the crime rate is very high over there alot of gangs. but not to worry the schools are safe just be careful of the friends you meet when you start in the Spring ok.

I have been there once to take a test. I know what you mean not a very good area.
