Hi everyone,

I'm in the process of study for the nurse Procalc and the NLN entrance exam for PBCC fall nursing program.

I read on line that this school works on a point system

I was wondering if anyone who has been accepted to the program

(past/Present) student: HOW MANY POINTS DID YOU HAVE TO

WHEN ACCEPTED TO THE PROGRAM.

Anyone with info about the program, would be helpful.

He should have been more clear but, he is easy going with the answers, if you come close he'll give you at least half credit, and he did give extra credit, thank g-d

Yea it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. When do you think we will get our email for nursing. Well at least I know the final won't be so bad. I have a huge A & P lecture exam Monday, so now I can focus on that. I don't how I will do in Pharm though. I have to get an 85 on the next test to stay in.

I have no idea when we will be getting the letters but, don't fret, I am sure you will get in. They never fill up! When I spoke to the lady at admissions she said she had like 17 apps, that was after deadline! What section are you in, pharm?

We are just starting hypertension. chapters 22-25 and about 5 other chapters I have to look at my syllabus. I think I am studying wrong. First i spent so much time on writing out my teachers lecture notes and then I stop for the second test. I really did not put 100% on the first two test. The third test I studied more the drug card I made and I got a 76, but now I'm not sure what I should focus on studying because obviously that didn't help either. The teacher doesn't want me to drop it yet until the dead line or if I do not get an 85 on the next test she will drop me. Oh well!!!

do you have to do any case studies or papers for pharm?

who is you teacher?? I am doing that now, as well, chap 22-31, I can email you a practice test our teach gave us if you'd like. It is alot of info. just keep reading over and over, highlight important parts, from what I get out of all this, the most important part is the knowing the adverse effects.

That would be great. I think I am doing the chapters. I had to do a case study on a pt with chest pain and the medication was morphine. Prof. gave us the questions there was about six. We also have to do a critique on one of three article that she picked from the nursing magazines. They are about snake bites, different drugs you take and claymidia (oops spelled wrong). PM me for my email. If you can send me some notes or practice tests maybe I can actually pass the next test.

I haven't researched the critique yet, I was waiting to see if I make it past the next test. She gave us references to where to find the articles. We have to go to the library bcause we can not get the RN magazines where she got the articles from. I have a copy of the blank question aire paper that she gave us for the case study with the pt with chest pain and a MI and we needed to figure out. I think I might get the one I turned in next week. What kind of papers do u have to do.

I have Marshall. That would be great. I did a case study that she gave us a hand out on a patient with chest pain and the medication was morphine and it was about six questions we had to answer. She told me i got a 95. We also have to do a critique on a nursing journal article that she picked three articles. one on snake bites, different drugs and claymidia. opps spelled wrong! That would be great if you could maybe I could pass the next test. I think I am doing the same chapters.

If she only received 17 applications we are all in, I think they have 20 or 22 spots. But I will not going to be at easy until I get something from them.
