PBCC-palm beach comm. college

Hi everyone,

I'm in the process of study for the nurse Procalc and the NLN entrance exam for PBCC fall nursing program.

I read on line that this school works on a point system

I was wondering if anyone who has been accepted to the program

(past/Present) student: HOW MANY POINTS DID YOU HAVE TO

WHEN ACCEPTED TO THE PROGRAM.

Anyone with info about the program, would be helpful.

Ahhh.... Just graduated PT PBCC. Good luck to all. Its a doozie. On a positive note, so far, everyone from class ahs passed boards!

Hello all. I applied to the PBCC full time RN program in Lake Worth. I hope to get in for the Spring 2009 semester. I applied with 24.87 points. Unfortunately I was unable to add microbiology to my application because I am enrolled in it now. I expect to receive a rejection or hopefully an acceptance letter any day now. I am so nervous!!! :eek: Anyone else apply for Spring? Also, I am taking an online pharmacology course this semester. This way, I will not have to worry about it my first semester of the nursing program. :yeah:

I am also a spring hopeful for the Belle Glade campus, I don't have A&P2 or Micro on my application. I am doing it now. From what I have heard Belle Glade never fills up and there was no way I was getting into Lake Worth. I am also taking pharm class online so I dont have to take it first semester!!!! Pharm class not an easy one alottttt of info!!!

Good luck to you!! I guess we should know our fate any day now huh? ;) Do you live out in Belle Glade? I am up in Jupiter so I am quite a ways from there. No pharm is not easy but at least we will have it done and over with.

ditto and thanks, I live in the pbg area, I know I wouldnt have gotten into lake worth not enough points, If I only have to go to Belle Glade a couple of times a week it shouldnt be too bad. keep me posted

I also applied for Spring 2009 but I only have 23.93 points..... I am really nervous, but in our meeting they told us that normally for spring it only takes around 22 points to get in...Im keeping my fingers crossed!!

Hi,

I applied at PBCC Bellglade to, waiting to here if I get in. I am taking A & P 2 and Pharm now. I might have to drop pharm and wait to take it when I get it the program. This class requires alot of time that I just don't have this semester.

I know what you mean. I check my PBCC email several times a day. I just what to know either way. The suspense is what I hate.

I live in Pembroke Pines a nice 55 miles drive each way but I think it is worth it.

It will definately be worth it.

Is that where our answer will be? Besides the mailbox. In our PBCC email? I never check that. I guess I'd better.
