When I started off working as a CNA in Phoenix...my starting pay was $15/hr with no benefits or shift differentials. The same facility now pays $12.90/hr + 10% night shift differential/25 % weekend differential. So you can technically make more if you work weekend nights.
So, you are saying the payscale has decreased? How is that even rational??? CNA's work so hard and do a very important but thankless job...I don't get it!

Yup!! I guess it only works out great for those that worked weekend nights before. They went from a flat $15 to $17.40 with the wknd and night differential. Go figure!

Does anyone know the highest paying facility for a CNA? I have a friend moving here with years of experience. She wants to make atleast $15 an hour....is this doable???
