Does anyone know the highest paying facility for a CNA? I have a friend moving here with years of experience. She wants to make atleast $15 an hour....is this doable???

I don't know, but check craigslist under medical/healthcare
I seem to remember pay for CNAs in AZ being about $10-$13/hr.

When I was a CNA, the only way I could make 15 bucks an hour was if I worked night shift and it was in Northern Arizona. When I lived in Phoenix and worked as a CNA they seemed to pay lower than the rural towns of arizona.

Until they raise the cap, I am as far as I can go at $13.50. Night shift would pay 2 bucks more. No annual raise nothing (dead end job). Glad I won't be a CNA forever.

Nurses are paid well for their work and respectfully so, but I wonder why CNA's wages aren't too good? They too are in a great demand and they work so hard!

When I started off working as a CNA in Phoenix...my starting pay was $15/hr with no benefits or shift differentials. The same facility now pays $12.90/hr + 10% night shift differential/25 % weekend differential. So you can technically make more if you work weekend nights.
So, you are saying the payscale has decreased? How is that even rational??? CNA's work so hard and do a very important but thankless job...I don't get it!
Yup!! I guess it only works out great for those that worked weekend nights before. They went from a flat $15 to $17.40 with the wknd and night differential. Go figure!
Wow! That really stinks!!!
