WHOA!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I would consider myself a pretty intelligent and well spoken person. However, I do acknowledge that I have been out of school for 10 years.
I bought my PAX study guide about five days ago and started to review it. It was then that I realized that I have forgotten A LOT of things. I am so anxious that I wont do well on this test.
I know I will be a great RN, but this test isn't bringing back as much information as I thought it would.
Since I cant memorize specific questions from the study guide ("Although these questions are not questions on the actual exam...") I have to memorize formulas and things of that nature. At this point I need all the support and feed back I can get. My test is in 2.5 weeks. Being a nurse is my dream and I cant let this entrance exam ruin it for me. HELP!
THANKS IN ADVANCE!
Amy
Also, Im still pretty new at this site. Please be patient with me :)

I studied for about two weeks I'm horrible at math and there was lots of chem and physics which I know squat about. I still passed with a 140 (93rd percentile) .
Hey thanks for commenting!! :) I took mine yesterday and got a 117. Not awesome but in the 77th percentile. :)
Good job!

I passed the PAX and I have to tell you I was very freaked out. There were a lot of graphing questions, some basic algebra questions and alot of earth science questions, kingdoms and gravity questions, I got a 116...not excellent but I needed a 100 to qualify for the RN program so I am very excited. Do not stress...you'll be great.

Totally feeling the same way!!!! I have the book but I dont plan on taking the exam until late November because the deadline for my nursing app is December. Math and English I have no problem with but Im studying ALL of science. Dont remember much and I NEVER took Physics so I am slightly freaking out. I want to get at LEAST in the 95 percentile because the program at my school is HIGHLY competitive. Like over 2500 applications for 200 spots
And last time I took any classes was 10 years ago also!
