I am taking it this fall as well. I do not know yet how much help it will be, but my instructor "suggested" a help book for us called Pathophysiology It is part of the Real World Nursing Survival Guide series. It was written by Gutierrez and Peterson. It also has NCLEX review sections in it. I have looked it over and it seems nice. It has nursing implications, website references, descriptions of the disease, what you need to know about the disease, treatment plans for the disease, clinical manifestations, at-risk populations, and self tests after each section to make sure you are understanding the material. I doubt the extra book will cover everything the actual class text does, but it looks helpful. Again, I am taking the class starting on Monday, so I am not sure yet. Hope this might help a little.

I am taking Patho this fall, and I am kinda nervous. I was just wondering if anyone has already taken the class, and how hard it was, good study tips, and anything else that would be helpful to me. Thank you!! :)
