Patho, Summer 2010

Anyone else taking Pathophysiology this summer? I'm not in my nursing program yet (should hear back in a few weeks ahh!), but I have been approved to take this class in the second summer session (July 12th start date). I am very nervous because it feels like I took a&p so long ago! haha

I was wondering also why Patho is a pre-req for NS. I now realize it is for accelerated BSN. I heard that these programs are very tough. Good luck there.

It's not just for accelerated programs, some ADN programs require it as well.

I took patho 1 in the spring, and my teacher was the most amazing ever, i got an A. But we did have study guides that were really helpful, it was a really fun class for me and i hope you find it fun too :)

Hi I saw that you pass patho I failed it this past semester is there anyway you can offer some suggestions and help and also recommend a book that would be helpful.

I'm taking mine online through ccconline. It's Bio 216, worth 4 credits.

Any other online patho programs?

I took mine online at Lake Superior College in Duluth. It was fun. No texts required, though you do have to have access to labs. Lots of those available online, so it's not hard to get the information you need. I think it was my favorite prereq so far (for a BSN, that is. The ADN prereqs were mostly covered by my BA).
