Passing the NCLEX = RN License?

Published

Assuming that all required documents and test results (TOEFL, etc) are submitted to the state BON, will a successful NCLEX exam automatically result in the issuance of a US RN license by the state BON which approved our application to take the NCLEX?

No. I've known more than one person who required some type of "review" of their documents before they receive their actual license. That would include your official personal documents, transcripts and background check results.

The way my BON rep explained it was that the ATT is only a document that says, "Yes, you sent us the right stuff, go ahead and test." Once you pass, they actually check the documents along with your test results and make the determination about issuing you a license.

Closing this thread as original question has been answered and now asking regarding states who will issue license without SSN and has already asked same question in the International forum where it belongs.
