Passing the NCLEX- need to pass all areas??

Hello. I was wondering on the NCLEX... do you have to pass all areas to pass NCLEX?? Like... Infection control, basic care, etc.?? I ask because I am strong in all areas except basic care. My scores have gone up on the Kaplan Q Banks, but I am still around 55 percent on Basic care... other areas are fine. Just wondering... thanks! :smokin:

All areas must be passed. Keep on working on your questions and rationales. Maybe you might want to spend more time on basic care if that is where you are weakest. Good luck.

Do you all know what is considered PASSING in each area?? Like on the trainers?? They break it down, but I am not sure what the passing range is for each area.

Suggest a good read on the NCSBN website as they are responsible for the NCLEX exam and list all sorts of information
