It was horrible. I my opinion far harder then what I thought my first test was.....By question 18 my head was spinning "what the hell were the questions asking" I had no idea....I kept plugging along and felt it didn't get much better....No math - I love the math questions, 5 SATA - no bad as I find these to be a weakness; 2 drop and drag-----It shut off at 85.
I came home in tears. Not knowing what else I could have done and feeling like a failure. I did kaplan a second time and NCLEX 4000 in addition to Saunders and LeCharity. By the end of my studying I was getting between 65% and 75% on my tests I felt calm and confident when I entered the testing room.
I did have the nerve to do "the Trick" again yesterday. I had done it the first time and felt like I was kicked in the gut when I got the CC screen. I just decided to wait it out. In PA the BON usually has the licenses posted between 24-48 hours.
I got this morning and put in my friends name who took it with me and had don the CC trick and got a good pop up....Her name was there. So, if I had passed mine should be there.....I typed in my info and clicked Search..

Wahoo!! ...I was in tears again because I was just so overwhelmed because I was more then certain I failed a second time..
So, less learned don't count your chickens out of the game unless you have confirmed you failed. :anpom::anpom:

Congratulations..New RN on the forum :)
Thanks still feels weird. I don't think it will hit home until I get a job and it will be at least 4 weeks until I start doing that....but I am happy that one more hurtle is over.
