passed in 265Qs

Hi everyone, Today I found out I passed NCLEX through quick result. i always thought i would come back and post my success story if i pass. I wanted to encourage and help future test takers like the others did to me. Here goes my story, i studied Saunders review book and did kaplan and Linda la charity questions(not the case studies). i studied for 3 weeks approx. 12 to 15 hours a day. i studied everything from Saunders, but i did not finish kaplan questions. i completed 50% of Q Bank and did question trainers except 7. My scores were: Diagnostic test 54%; QT1 53; QT2 54; QT3 53; QT4 55; QT5 50; QT6 58; and Readiness test 66%; Qbank aroun55% (read rationales of both right and wrong questions afterwards) If any of you are getting scores below 60 in kaplan, don't panic but keep on doing more questions.

After taking NCLEX, i felt that both content and test taking strategies are equally important. i was given 265Qs which means i was tested from almost every topics. I found Saunders really great book for content revision even though its questions are more content type, so i did not do Qs from Saunders. Here comes Kaplan, their QS are difficult and analysis/application kind. Kaplan prepared me pretty well with test taking strategies and question format. (in short, without kaplan i would not have passed nclex) Next, Linda La Charity book, this book turned out to be blessing to me because I got lots of prioritization and delegation questions. Few SATAS, 3 exhibit Qs, 2 calculations, no drag and drop and audio. I felt that type of question does not matter if you are good in content and test taking skills.

Moreover, don't panic if your computer do not shut off at 75, it means you still have chance to pass. If you have any questions feel free to ask, i will be more than happy to help you all. GOOD LUCK FUTURE TEST TAKERS.
