Passed NCLEX RN with 265 questions

Published

I took the NCLEX RN the second time on October 15th and found out that I passed on the 17th with 265 questions. I am overjoyed. The best advice that I can give any future nurse is to believe in yourself and Dont allow your nerves to get the best of you. If you have any questions feel free to ask. :roflmao:

Well for the first test I was all over the place. To tell you the truth I was listening to what other people were saying. A lot of people were saying do the Kaplan review or the Hurst review. Well for me that was impossible because I couldn't afford it. That first attempt I was so nervous and I actually ran out of time... FAILED!! For the second test I went to youtube and I Google Kaplan review for NCLEX. It was a hour long lecture explaining the test. I took notes on what she was saying. I also purchased the NCBSN learning extension which by the way was $50. Those questions helped me understand how to answer the NCLEX questions. I know the content, but with this test you have to know how to utilize and think critically. It is no way possible for you to learn all those drugs. You have to know what will keep the patient safe. When my second test didn't cut off on 75 or 85, I was OK because that still meant I had a chance. Hope this is helpful.

Congratulations, and welcome to the fold :)
