Passed NCLEX-RN 2nd X w/ 95 Q

Just wanted to give all you out there hope that you can succeed after failing the NCLEX. I took the exam Sept 18th and got 265 Q, knew I failed, hoped I didn't, failed. I took the exam again on Tue, 800 am, got 95 Q and just found out that I passed.:yeah: I used Saunders 4th ed. and completed the majority of the Q on the CD. I know that is what helped me pass. I also used Lippincott and NCLEX made easy. I don't believe that I could have gotten through it without the grace of God. I prayed like 20 times while testing. I believe that when you put your complete faith in God and study your dreams can come true:) My 2nd test was completely different then my first test, my advice is PRAY, study doing at least 100-150 Q a day, read the rationales, and take your time while testing. The more Q's you do the more comfortable you will be taking the test. Do not go into testing with a negative spirit and remember even if you do fail, its not the end of the world, you'll be okay and things will get better. I gained a lot of inspiration reading everyones posts. I even printed out a prayer someone put on and read it right before testing. GOD is sooooooo good! I did the same thing throughout the test. I just got my results today and I passed!!! I give all the glory and honor to GOD

I know exactly what you are going through, and I honestly believe that I couldn't have passed it without giving my all to God and claiming that I would be a RN. I studied hard and I left the rest up to him. He gave me the peace I needed to pass this test. This prayer is not mine, and I don't even remember who submitted it but it helped me out tremendously, I hope it will do the same for you. God bless and Good luck.

Dear God,

We come to you right now just to say thank you. Lord...we give you honor and glory and the praise for the opportunity to serve as "caregivers" to the wounded, ill, blind, and challenged. God you are the one who brought us this far. We know that you will never ever leave us alone. We cast our cares upon you. God, right now I am asking that you bind every spirit of worry, depression, and anxiety upon my sisters and I. Lord give us the spirits of trust in you. Grant us FAVOR right now!!!

You are glorious and you said we shall be victorious. 8 is the number of "new beginnings". 2008 you said you will raise up a new generation of Nurses, Leaders, and Warriors. Lord be with those of my sisters who are experiencing any hardships. Provide for them and their households. I command it right now. Give us a spirit of calm and peace to weather this storm. It is all in your purpose for our lives and our calling to touch others who need healthcare.

The board will have their own dates on when you can re sit. Some say 45 days and others say 90 days so all depends on the BON and usually indicates on their website. You an re apply and pay funds as soon as you want but pearsonvue will not issue ATT until timeframe is met and or BON releases ok to release ATT
