Hey Everyone I finished my LPN Program NOV 19, 2010, Took My NCLEX PN Dec 11 and found out I passed Dec 13!!!!!1 YaY. My school offered ATI andthey did prepare you for the NCLEX but I did not do the ATI focused review that my school recommended we do for 1 month before taking the NCLEX. I did not study for the NCLEX after finishing school and the computer cut me off after 85 questions so I thought I failed. To God be the Glory....I PASSED now next stop is RN I've already signed up for Excelsior LPN to RN and ordered my books.
If you don't mind me asking, how did you do on the hesi pn (if you took it?) - just wondering how much effort I need to commit - I did 984 on the Hesi pn, and we're doing the a 2-day nclex review class (not sure who is running the review)..
just answer alot of questions.....heres a free way to do so...
dont buy all those silly books...
go to your local library with your lap top...grab all the pn nclex books with the disks and upload them on your lap top....thats what i did....got over 8000 questions and tons of study guides....these discs are formated like the nclex....so i was not overwhelmed when i took the test
focus on the following
infection control
prioritization
delegatiion
patient education
and lab values....
remember your abc's......maintaining airway is always the number one choice...
best wishes and good luck.
