Passed the CEN

We get a "bolus of cash" equal to 2% of our annual salary, but we have to pay for the exam and any review ourselves. But still! I work with some awesome nurses, and I know they'd crush that exam if they took it. Same with the CPEN.

Thanks! I had been kicking the idea of taking the test for over a year. I did the online review thru the ENA this summer with Jeff Soliem. He is great! But I got busy with life and stopped studying. Then decided to take a practice test in the CEN review book from the ENA only scored 104 correct and thought i needed 105. Finally decided to schedule the test and force myself to get busy. That tends to work for me. I took the remainder of the tests and listened to an audio CEN success set. Ended up with 125 correct on the real test but never got above 108 on the practice tests? OH but I did go over every rational in that book even for answers I got right! Good luck Sorry for the delay. The hospital I work at almost closed the day I took the test (What luck) so probably no bonus or raise for the Cert. Even though I am the only nurse in the hospital with it. (we have 10 ER nurses) Just happy to have a job for now!
