I'm curious to see if GPA has any correlation with passing/failing. If you have 30 seconds, please answer my quick 4 question survey Could there be a correlation between GPA and NCLEX RN passing? Survey
Thank you!
I'll post my unscientific findings at a later date.

Your assumptions are too simple. You can have a person with a 4.0 GPA from a school with a 75% NCLEX pass rate fail numerous times before passing because the school did not prepare their students for NCLEX and you can have a person with a 3.0 GPA from a school with 92% pass rate and they could pass at 75 questions. Passing on the first try is largely a matter of how well the school prepares the student and the amount of individual preparation the student puts in than a magical GPA number or ASN/BSN.
I assume nothing, I am merely curious. I agree that it has a lot to do with preparation. Perhaps having a good grasp of the content (which may lead to higher test scores and thus a higher GPA) also helps?
