Is anyone planning on applying for the Spring 2019 semester (due October 1-31)? The new applications are up!

Hopefully we all will be celebrating an acceptance in the next few months. Good luck to all!

my score was 85.

I took a 4 unit micro class at ELAC and I didn't have to petition any science courses. I like the campus and seems like they're on top of things and organized so far. It's just the drive for me is about 34 miles compared to 16 miles to PCC.

That's my concern as well, especially since the clinicals may be even farther out. I would be commuting about the same distance as you and I'm debating it. But the program sounds superior to others and I like the fact that it's not a lottery based program. The lottery is too stressful!

Thanks for replying, and good luck to you!

For the 1st semester, the clinicals that I signed up for were from Simi Valley and Thousand Oaks. It can go as far as Oxnard so register for the clinical site that you want as soon as possible.

I actually just got my acceptance email from CSUN today for the A-BSN program. I was on the waitlist for that program too and they finally have a spot open for me. So change of plans for me again.

Good luck!

Congrats, fb123!

I received my acceptance letter from PCC on 11/27 and turned in my intent form by the deadline. As of now, I still have a reserved spot but I am 75% sure I will drop it since I applied to BSN and MSN programs. The tricky thing is that those I don't even hear from until end of Feb and end of March -_-

:o You've got a tricky situation. Have you started working through your PCC Admission Packet yet? Quite a few deadlines with things to pay for.

Was wondering... has anyone purchased all the textbooks on the booklist yet?

I really wish PCC had an in-person orientation to go through some of the stuff in the Admission Packet in case we had questions.

Did anyone else receive a letter stating that they were an alternate on the 9th but that the alternate status ended on the 11th?
