Hi,
I've heard that it's not recommended to work while enrolled as a student in an RN program. I'm applying for the Spring Semester at PCC and while I do intend to leave my current employer should I be accepted, I was wondering if there were people who made the attempt to work part-time or possibly in the summer.
Any opinions?
Thanks!
oh i see
ya i am taking chem 104 and stats ugh
seriously this whole acceptance/denial thing is all i am thinking about ya know?!
honestly when i really really want something and i get anxious i get kinda obsessive lol
i am so over this semester! did you apply to PCC only? i am sure you qualify for CSULA you should apply! hurry and apply to the CSU's before Nov 30th and then CSULA's nursing application is due dec 1st
TEAS for CSULA is due dec 30th
i believe all the grades excluding micro/speech is due before march 23rd as well as volunteer (>50 hours of patient interaction ) or healthcare exp (again like CNA, LVN, EMT ect)
I have applied and all that is left is looking for healthcare experience since no one is allowing for volunteers around here....not foothill pres or anything! it is a shame!
i bet you can get accepted there! did you take the TEAS yet? I did and only got an 82%
noo i live in la verne! is chem 104 offered in winter? ill have to check! but i have everything else so ill def apply to the csu's! it just sucks cause everything depends on whether or not i get in, so i have to register for classes before i know if i get in or not!! its frustrating! i was supposed to take my TEAS but i had to cancel! so ill have to set that up! as for experience, i currently work as CNA at a hospital so hopefully that will help, i wish PCC gave credit for that, but they don't! i know RCC and LA county does!
