I have a question for you guys. How old are your science courses?? I know PCC accepts sciences past five years but it's not recommended...

I took mine last year...I think once in the lottrry..they have considered sciences eligibility.

Why not west coast?? Although it's not my first choice I've considered it. What do you know about it that may not be good in your opinion??

I had many classmates whom. .I had take my pre classes...has considered west coast at one point..but it was time consuming, financially unstable, fast paced..is for somebody. .who has good financial support system. .For me it's not a option, because I support myself..I live independently. .so it will be too much for me to pay..I also have heard..Some people have couple grants a month..they were not able to afford it.

I'm on the same boat with you. I have no more patience in waiting. The only problem I have is that my sciences are 7 years old so I have retake them and then try reapplYing again. That's why I considered west coast so that I can do everything at once and then obtain a bachelor's after everything said and done. I'm 33 with a 2 year old son. I want to have at least one more child before I get too old but I need to have a career to financially support them, right??

Thank you! I will keep you all posted. Also, for the people thinking about Shepard, a couple of years ago I went and inquired. At that time Shepard did not offer financial aid, and it was all out of pocket or student loans, I think that was last year though. Good luck to everyone.

I mean If, you have good supporting family and friends..because your are gonna need that...your able to pay tuition and monthly payments are about ( 700 to 1000, ithink)..I would totally do it, But if not..its gonna be little hard..i know so many people, that are going there,( even my eyebrow wax lady)..she said the program is great..but its hard..they have good clinical at San Josephs..but if you got good support system.. Do it!! don't listen to negative stuff.. at then end your gonna be nurse..through your own hard work..effort..I would probably give them call..to see what would be yours estimation approximately to pay and time.

sincerely

Future nurse;)
